10 things…
Well, I can’t seem to shake this cold. It’s turning into something in my chest and I might have to get to the Doc’s this weekend. What a drag! Ever been sick on vacation? Do you feel gypped when this happens? I kinda do…
At any rate, we managed to get outside for an hour or so to re-visit the croc in the swamp! He did not disappoint! We also found some little mud-crabs. Plus, we have a few little lizards that like to hang out on the porch, so we’ve been taking lots of pics of them as well. I will post those later on. I’ve been hiding under a blanket on the upstairs porch trying to at least enjoy the sunshine, and read a book…
I saw that you guys have been posting 10 words that best describe yourself, so here goes:
fun, kooky, thoughtful, loving, resilient, emotional, likes to be challenged, happy, cheerful, loyal
I think that’s a pretty good list…
Talk to you soon! I’m still reading all of your wonderful comments. I get excited when I check every day! And tomorrow I will post some of your U-report Photos (I haven’t forgotten!)
jd

Get well Goddess

Hi JD, sorry you are under the weather on your vacation. Hope you’ll fell better soon.
I would like to send you some pics i took over Mothers Day, but don’t know how. Read your blogg everyday, just don’t post often. Last time i sent you a recipe.
If anyone can help me with the pics iwould love it very much. Not good at this stuff.
Thanks Cher from MS
I will post the U-report link today Cher!
I love your recipes too!
Hey Janice,
I’m sorry that you’re still not feeling well. Getting sick on vacation is a real bummer. I’ll be keeping you in my prayers. I’m glad you got out and did a little bit today, but don’t try to do too much because that might make things worse. (I sound like your mother, don’t I?!) I am looking forward to seeing the pictures you took.
Thanks for giving us your list. I was going to ask you if you would share yours with us. I can relate to fun and kooky! I used the word crazy, but maybe kooky would be more accurate. I’m glad we’re entertaining you with our posts! This is a great blog and I’m enjoying the experience. I’m going to wait until you return from vacation to send you my self portrait picture with my “don’t be a ninnyhammer” t-shirt. That way I won’t bother you while you’re on vacation and it will give me time to work up the nerve to send it!
I do hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself!
Margie
Hey Margie. Feeling better today, but I will take it easy for sure! Your posts are excellent. Makes my day seeing everyone chatting…
Hi all..
Ah Janice…sick on vaca
Stink fish pot on that…I bet prior to vaca you had been super busy and your immune system too a hit…so when you started to relax and drown shift you got hit with whatever….
You flew down to NC right??…Nothing like picking up the sickies on a plane…..Not to mention all the folks you work around in what seems like pretty close quarters…
ENjoy your blanket and your book….go with the flow and be fluid and flexible ….
Warm and peaceful thoughts
Dawn
(everyone have a great evening…one tired wench here)
Dawn, yup. You’re right. And even though in our mind we are doing “fun stuff” i.e. travelling to different places, it’s still stressful on the body! So that’s what I think happened. And yes, planes are nasty for little germies! I like your expression “stink fish pot!!” hahaha!
(Oh yea…I envy you guys with the crazy/kooky DNA…I do ok in that department but I have to work at it…It doesnt come natural…UGH)
Night
It’s easy being a kook! Come join us Dawn!
Hi Cher from MS,
You can send your pictures to Janice using the U-report page at:
http://www.foxnews.com/us/ureport/index.html?ChannelAdminGuid=D5EA59BF-39F0-4A01-80D6-E2D881779389
Hopefully that link will display properly here. If you have trouble with the link, just go to foxnews.com and look for link to the u-report page. All you do is upload your picture and provide all the information they ask for and that’s it. Make sure you select “Weather” as the category so Janice will get it. You’ll have to send each photo separately, but it’s not too difficult. We love sharing pictures here, so we’ll look forward to seeing yours.
Margie
thanks Margie!
Hi Margie Gacki
Thank you so much for the link.
I don’t know how to how to upload. So will be working on that.
Thank you again.
Cher from MS
Cher from MS,
If you have digital pictures that are stored on your computer, it’s not too hard to upload them. You just need to know the file (folder) name where your photos are located on your computer. Underneath where it says “upload a file” click on the “browse” button and that will open up a box where you can browse your computer files. Click on the file name and then click “open” and that will put the file information in that box. You need to make sure you fill out all the required information on the page, including checking the box that you certify you’ve read the terms, and then click the send button. A box will appear as your picture is uploaded to the Fox News site and then a thank you screen will appear when it’s finished. Make sure you include your name and city in the title field when you name your picture.
I hope this helps.
Margie
Hey Margie and Cher! Thanks for your help. I’ll take a peek later on to see if you were able to upload Cher! Looking forward to seeing your work!
Feel better jd. My husband and I love watching you on FNC. I went on vacation once and didn’t know before I left that I had a repritory infection. I made myself go out anyway and do stuff because I thought it was just a little cold. It kept getting worse, but I was determined to see things I wanted to see in Vermont. I got home and went to the doc and it turned out it was a terrible resp. infection.
I like it when you are kooky too. You know the tip you gave Bill and Megyn about TWC guy with the sexuall harassment. I thought it was hilarious that day or the day after the girls on FNC kept flirting with the guys. One of the guys was sick and the girls kept telling him how sexy he sounded and maybe he should get sick more often. LOL.
Thanks Elizabeth! We do like to kid each other on the air…but certainly not like that weirdo on the Wx Channel! heehee! I head they did a skit about it on SNL last weekend. I wish I could’ve seen it!
The Mega Millions Lottery is 196 million dollars. What would you do if you won?
Excellent question Don! I think I might make that question a post so that everyone can see it!
Feel better soon JD.
Spring flower pictures on the way soon, took some pictures today.
Yay! Peter I will post today!
JD! As some of my Uk friends say so sweetly “poor You”. I hate being sick. There was one christmas eve my son was very sick with pneumonia. We begged to take him home, no child wants to spend christmas in a hospital if they can leave. Seems like vacations and christmas time somebody always has something!
You’re right Kathy! I feel a bit better today so maybe the ocean air is helping!
