HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKLYN BRIDGE!
by Janice Dean
She’s 125 years old today! And I have to admit The Brooklyn Bridge holds a special place in my heart since my wonderful husband is from Brooklyn and he has travelled it many times to come to see me in Manhattan!

Happy Birthday!
Good job Mr. Dean! We can all see why you would to travel to Manhatten.
Awww Thanks Gary! I’ll remind the hubby he needs to thank the bridge too!
one of my most favourite bridges in America, a great piece of architecture and an iconic skyline feature of new york , glad to have you back Janice safe and sound from jon scotts place in N. carolina, loved the pics , its so Dawson’s creek which is where they used to film that show up in Wilimington, wrightsville beach, nice place to retire im sure, awful to hear about the tornados and damage in denver colorado, also those fires in santa cruz CA , being from CA its always sad to hear about fires there as they do so much damage , but you can replace a building or a shady acre but you cannot replace a person , so lets hope nobody is hurt in both of these news items. , co incidentley the filmed the 1987 movie ” the lost boys ” up in santa cruz, mostly at the pier, fav movie of all time, although the new sequal “the tribe ” is really not going to be as anywhere near , so how are feeling JD ?, im sure the rest was great for you, will try and catch you on fox and friends this weekend i believe, have to work but i will record it !, alright, have a wonderful and safe weekend to you and your husband, all at FNC & everyone else on here!
take it easy & god bless

Hi Richard! Yes, I did hear Dawson’s Creek was filmed there. Our cab driver there pointed out a few spots where they used to do some of the series. Hope you and Karen have a great weekend too!!!
125 ?! can you believe that?!
INCREDIBLE!!
One of the best walk in the city.
And I don’t want to be sexist here, but since the word bridge has masculine gender in French, I can’t help thinking of it as a “he”…. which is fine in my mind cause the nearby Statue of Liberty is definitely a “she” so they make together the perfect couple
Happy Birthday Brooklyn Bridge!
and thank you for contributing to make our Janice truly happy
Guillaume
You’re right Guillaume. The Bridge might be a he…oh well!
Have a wonderful wonderful weekend! Yipppeeee!
