What are you guys up to this weekend? I’m going to the Eagles Concert with my hubby tonight! I paid an insane amount of money for the tickets, but they are my favorite band, so I splurged. Can’t wait!

I am going to the Space Center here in Houston and playing golf sometime (after “Hoeny-do duties”)
Good for you! You’ve got your priorities straight! haha! ;D
Hey Janice, I hope you enjoy the concert! Sometimes it’s worth paying a little extra money for something that will be a lot of fun. Enjoy! I’m going to see Donna Summer in July. She just released a new CD and at 59 years old, she still sounds great! I seem to prefer the artists who have been around for a while over the newer ones. (Maybe that’s because I’m getting old!) So many of the newer artists can’t even sing. I prefer artists who don’t grate on my nerves! I hope you have a great time tonight. I think I’ll be in bed while you’re rocking to the Eagles.
Margie
I will Margie! I like Donna Summer too. She looks great!
Hey Janice……
The Eagles are great, it will be worth it. I saw them in Dallas back in 1994. Hotel California Baby!!!!
Did you get the Global Warming picture proof?
Have a great weekend everyone.
Sunny
P.S. I’m planning on helping my daughter move into her new house this weekend.
Hey Sunny
I had a good laugh tho!
I did get your photo, however, because of copyright stuff, I have to be careful what I post in terms of pictures off the internet
Getting ready for my trip to England for business late next week including getting my ears lowered ;-0. A round of golf tomorrow at Andrews AFB before the afternoon thunderstorms roll in.
I will send you some weather pics from the English Channel and London! Ahhhh, business!!
Would love to see those pics! Have a safe trip Don!
Hey JD prior to my earlier message, have a great time at the eagles concert, you can do the weather machine shuffle all night hehehehe!, enjoy, love your earings today also !,live music rocks thats why im in a band! , love Richard
Thanks Richard! I’m looking forward to doing the machine shuffle! heehee
WOW, The Eagles…enjoy, I would think by now they might be The Bald Eagles
haha. nope - they’ve all maintained some impressive hairdos!
Hey Don…..
I think it more like The Silver Eagles now.
I think some of them are members of the hair-dye club..
My wife, daughter, youngest son and his 2 children are going to Titusville to watch the shuttle launch. The grandkids are a girl 4 and a boy 19 months. Our grand daughter has been at our house and seen a launch on NASA tv and seemed interested. Hopefully all will go well, seems you have the weather set perfectly. Thanks “Weather Goddess!”
Wonderful! I hope the weather is good for the launch Paul!
I’m sooooo jealous! You’re going to see one of my favorite bands of all time. I really dug them back in the day (as my kids would say). Then last year they had this really great CD come out. They’re sounding better than ever. I tell my kids that’s what real music is supposed to sound like—not all this crap they listen to now. (I can say “crap”, can’t I?) Have lots of fun!
My weekend is pretty much going to be housework, church and babysitting grandchildren. I know–I’m in a terrible rut; but there’s just nothing exciting going on here this weekend, and it’s just too blame hot to go outside for very long at a time.
Great weekend to all!!
Gwen
Your life seems hardly boring Gwen!
The show was great!
Welcome to the Hotel California, just another day, just another day! I am so pumped for you JD! This band and this song was 1977. My senior HS year! I love the Eagles, I would dance all night!
Today one son graduated, and tomorrow another does. Tomorrow afternoon I plan on taking Pictures with the two of them. It will be without Daddy, but I will get some really good shots of them. The graduation Daddy will get to, but work is work and it comes first. My kids are growing tall!
Janice you would be proud, my son’s 8th grade had a great DJ and I really decided to dance late into the dance. He got embarassed but the girls in his class loved it. They are a group of big dancing girls! It was fun! I held off until 10:30 but I could no longer tolerate great dancing songs and no dancing. Once Thriller came on I was on the deck!
I am proud of you Kathy!!! I’m sure you were a huge hit! You go, girl! I love Thriller too!!
Okay first I am going to take a nap while I have a chance!
Mmmm…napping. Me too!
Not quite sure yet what is on my agenda….Depends on the weather…have fun at the concert
I did have a great time. Be careful of those thunderstorms Dawn! they should be arriving between 2-4 pm today!
Welcome to the Hotel California……;)
Have a great one! Enjoy the weekend.
Thank’s everyone for the great pic’s this week.
They played that song early in their show, and people were just so pumped! It’s their best song I think. I do miss Don Felder though in that dueling guitar solo with Joe Walsh!
Janice, will you ever be on Red Eye again? You’re my favorite guest and I miss you!
have a fun weekend!
Hey Renee…you know, they haven’t invited me back in a long time. I’m not sure why! No love for the weather machine!!!
Enjoy the concert JD.
It’s pouring rain here in the OV as I type this entry. Nothing exciting planned for the weekend. (My normal weekend) Watch some NHL playoffs Saturdaynight 8pm. Too bad Ottawa isn’t in the playoff final this year.
I hope JD is back on RedEye real soon.
My second favorite guest is Julie Banderas.
Hey Peter! Thanks…maybe someday they’ll invite me back!
I hope they invite you back real soon.
Of course it’s shot late at night for a early riser such as yourself.
You have to get up early many mornings.
