Janice Dean the Weather Machine

Sleepy Monday!

Hey good morning everyone!  I’m a little slow on the get-go today…I think I could’ve used another few hours in my cozy bed.  Hope you had a great weekend…they go to too fast don’t they?  Especially when the weather is nice.

I saw Sex and the City.  I will say this:  If you’re not a fan of the show, I don’t think you’ll enjoy it.  If you are a fan:  you will love every single second you spend with the ladies.  I laughed, I cried, I ate a lot of snacks…it was fabulous.  And, the crowd was manageable.  There were a few rude females, but thankfully they didn’t sit anywhere near me!  HA!

Another active week in weather-land especially across the Nation’s Midsection where we’ve got a set up for strong to severe storms.  Today’s threat extends from the Northern Rockies, across the Plains and then the Upper to Mid-Mississippi Valley.  Tomorrow we’ll see those storm fire up along the Ohio River Valley and the Great Lakes.  Large hail, damaging winds, flooding rain and isolated tornadoes will be again in the forecast for these areas that are still recovering from the last round of storms.

Here’s a look at the latest watches/warnings across the U.S: http://www.weather.gov/

I’ll post another Open Blog a little later on for you guys to chat!

JD - Do you have opalescent nail polish on?? Your weather report from about 9:30am edt had some interesting special effects with the weather wall … ;-) Your hand was doing some crazy tricks when you would point to certain areas of the map as if there was green in your nail polish as your fingers were sometimes disappearing into the map … ;-) It sorta looked like you were the fairy princess with the magical wand in a Disney movie …

Maybe I was just seeing things … LOL ;-) Or maybe I’ve been awake too long … and have had too few chocolate chip cookies …

Wow, it’s 50 degrees here … But, it feels a LOT colder …

Wow. That’s wacky. Yes, I have a nice shade of pale pink on today that must’ve not worked with the green screen. It sounds pretty cool though! :)

Mmmmm chocolate chip cookies!

Janice,

Send us some cooler weather down here to West Texas. High yesterday was 106 and the forecast this morning said it would be about the same until Wed. or longer. We have only had 1.1 inches of rain this year and need some more in the worst way. Hope your weather is better.

You just have a case of the “Modays”. It will wear off by Thursday! ;-) (haha)

How many men were at the movie? My gal saw it last night and said there weren’t any guys in the audience. We figure it is the movie you go to with a gal if you want to get your “sensitive guy” credentials acknowledged. I guess it’s just a fun “guilty pleasure” you women have.

Comment by Janice Dean

We had a few men in the movie theater. My hubbie said no matter how much he loves me, he would still never go watch a Sex and the City movie with me EVER. hahaha

Hey JD……..

Just another manic Monday, as the song says.

I was just watching your cut-it and it looked like something was a bit different with your hair today.
Do I have this correct or am I just on crack as usual? By the way, it looks great.

Sunny

P.S. Barron…..Don’t ask for rain in the worst way, as you will get it in the worst way. Just ask for some good rain. Hope you get some soon, althougth this time of year, it usually comes with the Tropical Storms only.

Hey Sunny! Yes, Manic Monday is right. Hmmm…nothing new with the hair — it’s getting a little long though…might need a trim…. :)

Hey Sunny, thanks a lot! Now you got me singing that song! Actually, it’s anything but a manic Monday for me. I’d rather be home in bed but one of the physicians needed some articles by today, so I’m trying to get them all together so I can go home and nap. It looks so nice outside, but I have a feeling all the pollen wouldn’t do me any good at this point. I’m feeling a little better than I did yesterday morning but I haven’t decided on whether or not I should consult my doctor about my situation. I’m not quite as congested as I was before and I’m not coughing as much, so at least there’s some improvement. I’ll have to come up with a good song for the way I feel. Right now I can’t think of one, but I’m sure I’ll come up with something. My brain isn’t quite in gear yet today, so we’ll see what happens.

I hope everyone has a great week.

I startled awake at 8am…I rarely sleep that late…and was rushed to get things done before I did my bookwork….

Everyone have a good week :)

(Margie glad to hear like it sounds you have turned the corner with what you have been fighting)

(Janice thanks for the honest opinion of the movie…Glad you had a good time! :D )
