I haven’t heard from my brother he is on the other side of Padre Island, this is really stronger than I had wished.
Kathy,
I’ll keep your brother in my prayers. Let us know if you hear from him.
Take care,
Margie
Hang in there Kathy…No doubt power is out …..I bet he is just fine though….
My friend Molly and her kids are in S. Padre riding out the storm in a 2nd floor hotel room.
The hotel manager sent out a flier that stated they would ride out the storm in the lobby. However when Molly went down, they would not let her in and sent her away with no explanation. I figure they changed their plan. I advised her she was better off being on the 2nd floor in her room as the lobby will likely get flooded. Anyway, Just a first hand report. Please keep my friend and her two kids in prayers. Peace, -Reed
kathy…
I am hoping all is well with you..and I hope you hear from your brother soon.
Deb
Reed..
Your prayer request has been taken care of..
Try not to worry.
Deb
Reed,
I’ll add Molly and her kids to my prayer list. Please let us know if you hear from them. She is probably better on the second floor if the place gets flooded. Please keep us posted.
Take care,
Margie
My parents have a small home just across the channel from S. Padre island in Port Isabell. My Mom was just released from the hospital in San Antonio on Monday. She fell last week and suffered a broken leg. Their home is on a channel and only 11 feet higher than sea level. Dad didn’t think the storm would get bad. I am praying for their safety. Please join me. Thank you!
V
Vic, we’ll keep your parents in our prayers as well. I hope your mom’s broken leg heals quickly! I hope you’ll report back and let us know how they’re doing.
Margie

I spoke with Molly after the storm moved through. They are okay and their car is okay too. The power and water still out. Cell phone is working. Go figure. :0) Thanks for the prayers. They are working. and thank you Lord for protecting our friends. Peace, -R
Reed-
I am glad that everything is alright with you and your family.
Its a major blessing
Reed,
I’m glad Molly and her family are ok. That is great news! I’ve been busy with a family emergency so I haven’t watched any news yet today to see what the damage is. Hopefully things will settle down and I’ll be able to catch up. Thanks for letting us know she’s ok. I’m glad to hear that!
Margie
