Yes Margie, I'm bad ;-)

Having put up with that Doughy Idiot for years, maybe it's beginning to go back. The carbon offset scam, the crap science used in his "theory", the imperial attitude towards working folks (think Heddly LaMarr in "Blazing Saddles") and his general disdain for us might have made people reach the point where he becomes the national joke he's trying to be.

I don't know where "Our pal Al" is right now but I'll bet whatever he's doing involves jamming food in his face.:-)

Don-

Al Gore probably wouldnt agree to do anything unless its going to profit his liberal hypocrite agenda. He will probably find some way to blame this hurricane on global warming.

W W A G D ??

What
would
Al
Gore
Do?? :-)

Dawn,

I agree with your two cents! I was just talking to a friend about this and we commented on how news people think they need to get the best coverage so they get right in the middle of the story. I've seen Jim Cantore on the Weather Channel during a number of hurricanes and he was always getting battered around! I'd much rather see coverage of the aftermath of a hurricane and know the reporters are safe, than watch them risk their lives by being out in the middle of one.

Hey Don, you never know what you'll get hit by in 100+ mph winds! I'm just glad I'm inside where it's nice and dry and safe.

Everytime I see them, I think about the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" when the reporter is doing the live report and is hit by a flying house. Sadly, no matter how good the reporter is, you have to be in one to get the stomach churning feeling you get when you are in one.

Margie...

I call it the "Do as I say, Not as I do syndrome"....It is a mixed message isnt it?

Its one of the elements of the media that I tend not to respect...

I get the need to cover a story....but sometimes in covering it they send viewers and the population is general very big mixed messages..

And often times people tend to ignore mixed messages...And why shouldnt they/we ignore it when others behavior speak louder than their words...

Just my .02
