    Matthew on Fox and Friends!

    Hi everyone!

    It’s been busy in the weather center today – tornadoes across the south, wildfires over southern California.  There have been reports of damage across parts of North Central Alabama from possible tornadoes.  Here’s a peak at all the watches and warnings: http://www.weather.gov/  A tornado watch remains in effect for Alabama, Georgia (including Atlanta) and a portion of North Carolina.  There could be large, long lasting tornadoes through tonight, so if you live in the south – I hope everyone keeps an ear to their local weather reports and have their NOAA weather radios handy.

    Across Southern California, winds are the problem especially over Santa Barbara county where brave firefighters are battling a wildfire that right now is 0 percent contained as of this writing.  Temperatures remain warm during the day, the relative humidity is low,  and the winds are forecast to pick up tonight with gusts of 50 to 60 mph locally.  Thankfully crews got a break overnight last night, and hopefully they can get a handle on the fire today.

    In other news, my little man Matthew will be on Fox and Friends tomorrow morning in the 8am hour modelling baby bathtubs!  I’m so exited to bring him in, and even more exited to see how he’ll do in front of the bright lights and cameras again!  (And he’ll be wearing swim diapers so he doesn’t get mad at mom for being naked on tv when he gets a little older!  HAHA)  I hope you’ll tune in, and I’ll try to get some video to post also.

Don in Richmond

We have the largest cumulus clouds I've ever seen. I just had such a craving to get back into glider flying. You get the best lift when there are cumulus clouds. I haven't flown gliders in almost 4 years now. Use to fly right over Steve Forbes house every weekend. His estate is next to the airport. With clouds like we have today, one would have a chance to set records for altitude and time flying.

Hi Janice!! AWWWWWW little matthew is growing bigger by the minute, love his shirt! HA!, also i wanted to personally offer my sincerest Birthday wishes to you for this weekend JD Happy Birthday, i think you already have the best gift yet huh!, Those fires are pretty bad in santa barbara, however being a native of SoCal its nothing new when you get these dry brush conditions, virtually no humidity, and occasionally some jerk starting a fire on purpose Grrrrllll!!!!!, im thinking lightening may of started this i do not know as of yet, prayers and thoughts go out to those in the area. And what the heck is " the Govenator " thinking of in cutting back on firefighters and less spending in the fire Dept, if you live in CA the fire Dept is an essential part of the community like any other uniformed service in the u.s, Boy that really is dumb! My family live in Tustin so they should be ok apart from freeway closures due to smoke etc,Its like people want those multi million dollar homes up in the hills and this ends up being the ultimate price they have to pay, back across the pond im doing ok, just tired alittle from all of the painting i've been doing, finially finished the kitchen at 1.45 this morning!, just my hallway to finish off and then im pretty much done, hope everyone is well, Gina, wenchie, margie, qwen, george, tony,Deb, john , george, paul, ringo,,,HA! You guys were super today! He is just a cute button baby! I did notice he knew exactly which camera to focus on !!! Squeeze & smooch on him for us!! Finally some sun here in the Blue Ridge today. Hey Janice, That little guy of yours is just plain adorable! It's amazing they could have so many babies on the show and they all were quiet. How did that happen?? All of the little ones looked like they were enjoying the bath tub. It's an interesting concept. I'm glad you told us about the segment. I recorded it at home but I had the TV on at work and was able to watch it live. I'm glad I got to see that little cutie of yours! He's a special little guy. Margie

HI all, A nice day here in the OV. Rain is in the forecast. :) I'm all set to record the show in the morning, usually have it tuned automatically to Foxnews, so I wake up to and sleep to Foxnews. :) If I wanted nightmares I would tune into that network that starts with C and ends in N, that's right the crappy news network. :) Little Matthew gets his formal modeling start. Hey JD, did you ever go to that museum in Ottawa where they have the trains? Forgot to mention excellent post. Can't wait to reading the next post!

Great Pictures. Bet the segment will be on Johnny Dollar but will try to be home to see it. If it's not raining I don't usually get home until 8:30 from the dog park. We are in another tornado watch again.

Great to see you back to work. yes each day it gets easier, but your little one will always tug at your heart each and every day. BTW he is just adorable. In some ways you and all the new mommies have it a bit easier these days as you can get real-time pics of your little one via any means of tgechnology; something I probably would have given my eye teeth to see pics of my kids daily. I haven't confirmed yet whether or not you received the afghan I sent to you about the time your left on leave. I know it was delivered to the 18th floor to your attention on january 7, 2009. I know you probably get thousands of letters and packages each and every day, but do hope this one made it to you in good shape. If not, no worries, I can always make one in your favorite color a bit larger so you can share it with Matthew. Best to you! elaine

Dear Janice, Those pictures of Matthew today were adorable, he has the sweetest face with so many expressions, you just can't believe he has so many problems with reflux, he looks truly like a little chick that just hatched and can't believe the world is all is to enjoy. We cannot wait for tomorrow morning to see that little guy in person, but we know the clip will go so fast, that is 5:00 AM here in San Diego area, but you two are worth it and thanks for the head up. You sure picked right up on the weather map where you left all you look great and it is soooo good to have you there again and the bonus is that little sweetheart waiting for you at home. Hey Janice, I love the pictures!!! They're all so cute. I'll set up to record Fox and Friends tomorrow since I'll be at work and I don't know what the day will be like. I'll try to catch you live but at least I'll have it recorded if I miss you and Matt. He's such a cutie!!!! I just have to add that the sun actually came out today!!!! I went out to lunch with my friend Lisa and I actually needed the air conditioner on in my car when we came out of the restaurant. It was sunny and mild. I'm glad I went out at lunch because the rain is headed this way and will probably hit around quitting time again. There's a big area on the radar heading straight for Cumberland. It rained right at quitting time yesterday, too. I've been bringing my umbrella so I'll be ready. I have to pick up some pictures at Wal-Mart and I hate transporting pictures in the rain. Oh well, hopefully it won't be too bad. We shall see... I've been busy today and haven't seen you on air at all. You always brighten up my day when I see you, even if the weather is gloomy.
