GREAT PICS!!
Peter Plumley
Evening/morning everyone, Wow JD, I knew you would pull off some nice big plans for Sean. :) Sean and 20-30 thousand of his closest friends. Who feed them all birthday cake? :) Looks like a great time. It's good to see the future President of the United States with his Fox co-workers (Gov. Huckabee) If he decides to run again, I'm going to come work for him. In weather related news, today (Monday) was overcast with threating rain, but I got a bike ride in, started to rain in the early evening for a few minutes. Rain is in the forecast for Tuesday and some of Wednesday. Canada Day (July 1) is Wednesday. Many US visitors in the area, from New York, PA, New Mexico, California etc. Good number of them passed me on the highway, between oil trucks, log trucks, lots of fun riding beside them. :) You don't have to worry about getting doored, just flattened. :)

Nice pictures of the Fox family, Janice, and I love the last one with you and Sean!! :) And what about those clouds?! weren't they incredible??!

Hi, Janice, Thanks for sharing these baseball photos! Seeing a baseball game with a bunch of friends is the best way. When I worked at the University of Chicago, I sometimes went to White Sox Games with a dozen or more students. One time I mentioned this to the young woman in charge of WBBM-TV's (CBS) news assignment desk. "Oh, would you take me next time? I've never been to a Sox or a Cubs game before." After the game, we all went to Giordano's in Marquette Park, Chicago's finest pizzeria. We had a great time! Now I'm listening to one of my favorite groups from the 1980's: Tears for Fears. I bet you liked them to, Janice! Your buddy, George

JD Thanks for all the photos all the time, besides your blogging, we just love all those pictures, I have always been a picture person, I always like people in my scenery pictures. It is so nice to the couples together, boyfriend-girlfriend, wife-husbands, just love it. The Fox Family sure seems like a real family and we think that is what makes Fox so wonderful, we all feel a part of all of you..........................and.............of course our favorite pics are of JD, Matthew and Sean. So happy Sean had a wonerful birthday celebration with his honey and had so many to help him celebrate. Gee....a night out on the town for Mommy and Daddy. Clare and AJ

JD, Thanks for sharing the photos of the baseball/birthday bash with us. It looks like a great time was had by all(except probably the Mets, who lost to the Yankees). Please extend a belated birthday greeting to my fellow Irishman, Sean. Hot as blazes here in Texas. It was over 100 yesterday, although a cool(?) front may keep the high tomorrow to only about 97 or so. Better get the sweaters out of moth balls! I hope all are having a decent Monday. JB

Hey Janice, Great pictures...and alot of smiles. I think the cloud shot is beautiful. And the one of you and Sean is very good. I'm glad he had a Happy 29th! ;) Well, we have a little break in our recent heat wave. The temps are down, as well as the humidity. Feels alot more comfortable now. And there is a very nice breeze too. Very pleasant Monday. And my hair isn't frizzy. Gotta go get something to eat, I missed lunch some how, and that's not like me to miss a meal! Enjoy your Monday, Deb

Hey Janice, Great pictures! I like the one with you and Sean. Those cloud pictures look scary! We had a very brief shower Friday evening. It's hardly worth mentioning (.03 in. of rain). It felt good because it was rather warm Friday. I was outside with my neighbors and they helped me take down the chain link fabric from my fence. Our weekend weather was beautiful and today is beautiful. I will be painting the top rail of my fence this evening since it has some rust on it. It's a little breezy out so hopefully I can spray paint without making a mess! I must be getting back in shape because, although I felt pretty sore on Saturday, it didn't last long and I feel fine today. I used to get sore for days whenever I did a lot of physical work. I think the combination of getting more exercise and taking a few Aleve over the weekend has paid off. I've been taking pictures of the different steps so I'll send some in when the whole project is done. Speaking of pictures--next week my friend JoAnne and I will be taking a drive to Blackwater Falls and Spruce Knob in West Virginia. I will be taking plenty of pictures of that and I'll share some of those. The following weekend my friend Heather and I are heading to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and I'll take plenty of pictures there, too. I'm sure I'll be able to keep the blog well supplied with pictures. Hey to all the other bloggers out there. I hope everyone has a great week! Margie

Looks like you all had a great time. Speaking of baseball did anyone see the Angles in the park bunt home run? Amazing....Everyone was laughing.

Good morning JD, Looks like you Fox Folk were having quite a good time there. Wasn't it nice of so many folks to show up for Sean's party!! Bless their hearts! Love that cloud shot! We would so love to see some of those here! We did actually get one of those pop-up showers yesterday that had maybe 3 drops of rain in it, but it cooled us down a little from the 102 degrees it had been earlier in the afternoon. Now that's the official temp at the airport. Many of us with home gauges or temp gauges in our vehicles show a couple of degrees higher. The weekend camping trip was really fun. The early mornings were beautiful, but later in the day was too hot to even go outside. I read a book, watched a movie, took a long early morning walk and saw or heard little of what was happening outside of the campground. We ate Saturday night at a fish camp restaurant nearby that serves excellent food....fried catfish with all the trimmings, steaks, grilled chicken, etc. YUM! SO GOOD!! All of this is only about 15 minutes from my house, so I wasn't far from home at all...just felt like it. I do see myself as an early Spring/late Fall camper, however. It's just too blamed hot right now!! Gotta go...work is calling. Catch y'all later! ;) Gwen
