I took this picture while walking home through Central Park yesterday. Our overnight temps don't get too cold so early in the season due to the our proximity to the ocean. The leaves change color a few weeks later here than those just about 20 miles inland! This time of year is absolute magic. Send me your fall pictures!
Hi Rick
I love the picture of Central Park. I am trying to get down
to Central Park to see the fall foliage but by the time i
can it will probably be over with. On well there's always
new yers.
Hey Rick ... this is so beautiful! Thank you for bringing a little of your amazing fall colors to Central Florida via your blog. I am a shameless fan! :)
Hi Rick,
I just wanted to say that the photo you took in central park is BEAUTIFUL! Im completely surprised that the trees have already changed colors...I knew that color changes in the trees were happening upstate...but here in NYC, already??
Has Fall come and gone??
:(
Hope it warms up again next week; having some warm weather again this week was a gift!
Hey Rick, this is my first time on your blog. I have been on Janice's blog since '07. I am looking foreward to talking weather with you. I'm a forecaster for the Air Force stationed at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. So you will be getting updated from the Great Land. So far this fall has been great. No snow yet for the Anchorage area. Today its been in the lower 50's. A lot of downslope and old typhoons have contributed to our mild temps.
Take it easy,
ingrid
