With regard to the Ft. Hood massacre & it's relation to gun control. In the Island of PR, a US possesion since 1898, we have the or at least one of the most strict gun control laws in the USA. And yet, we see all of these multiple death shootings all of the time. Why America? Because as we know in PR, Gun Control only applies to THE AVERAGE JOE and NOT CRIMINALS. This is sadly the case in PR and anywhere USA. Wake Up America, guns are not the problem & we can't predict what a criminal will do
Can anyone tell me if our president has actually spent any time in the oval office working? By working I mean time not spent on planning his next photo op, tv appearance or trip.
Also, why can't we get new legislation so that our congressmen and senators serve 2 terms and they are out and without their lifetime benefits.
This morning on Fox and Friends Mr. Beckel stated that there are teachers today sitting in the classroom happy for the stimulus package because they have jobs. Not so! He really should check his facts. I am a classroom teacher waiting to find out who all will be RIFed this year because of the State and Federal spending cuts to education. In addition, he is an intelligent man presumably; he should realize that government jobs do not create wealth.
