hello everyone! LONG time, no chat. Life got pretty hectic for awhile with the trip to florida, holidays in ohio and the move from VA to Oklahoma, but now we're here and settled and in 3 1/2 months we get to pack up and move again. gotta love military life! haha Just wanted to drop by and say hello and now that we're settled, I'll be around more often! Gwen and Margie When I was 40 I had hernia and gall bladder surgery. I asked the doctor if you fall apart at 40. He said, "not as much as you do at 60" Was he right. I think my retiring at 60 was natures way to handle falling apart. Past 8 years have been downhill.

Hi guys, Got a few minutes left on my lunch break so I thought I'd drop by and see if anything was happening. Looks pretty quiet to me. It's another gray/gloomy/windy day here, but it's getting colder. Our temps are dropping all day, and we're expecting low 20s tonight. There's even a chance of snow for us on Thursday. Not really likely, but a chance nevertheless. If we do get snow, I promise to send pictures. My sister's birthday is this Saturday; and, when she was born (50 years ago), it came a huge (for us) snow storm. I remember being a very small child and playing in the snow while Mama and Daddy went to the hospital to have the baby. I could have cared less that my baby sister was being born; I was having a blast playing in deep drifts of snow....such a rarity! Margie, I know what you mean about that falling apart feeling. Seems like I'm having more health issues now than I've ever had before. I do hope all of your tests give your doctors a clue as to what ails you, so they can help you get better. Good one, Joni! I could make a whole army of angels with the snow around here. Good morning to everyone. It's gray and gloomy here in Cumberland. I don't think they know exactly what we'll get because one forecast has 6-10 inches and another one 8-15 inches. I really don't want any more snow, but I'd rather have 6 than 15 inches! I'm taking tomorrow off so at least I won't have to worry about travel tomorrow. I timed my trip to the supermarket perfectly yesterday after work. When I got there it was a little busy with lots of people in the aisles, but I timed it just right at the checkout and I got right behind someone who was getting checked out. I didn't have to wait long at all. I liked that! Now I won't run out of food if I'm snowed in. I have to get some breakfast. I had to fast for my blood work so now that I'm finished with that I'm ready to eat! My friend Sandie was the phlebotomist so I felt comfortable with her sticking me with a needle. She was very gentle. I also had my foot x-rayed to see what that problem is. I just think I'm falling apart so hopefully we can get something figured out. Have a great day, all! Margie

I certainly can't take credit for it, I just took the pictures. This guy does things like this all the time. He also is heavy into decorations for every Holiday. just one of those people. chas
