    Record Breaking Snow in Texas!

    Hi everyone!

    Big snow across Dallas yesterday.  Here’s the report from the National Weather Service Office:

    SNOWFALL REPORTS GENERALLY RANGED FROM 6 TO 14 INCHES. SOME OF THE HIGHER SNOWFALL REPORTS WERE RECEIVED IN AND SURROUNDING THE DFW METROPLEX.
    A DAILY SNOWFALL RECORD OF 11.2 INCHES ON FEBRUARY 11TH WAS REPORTED AT THE OFFICIAL CLIMATE SITE FOR DALLAS/FORT WORTH.

     THE PREVIOUS RECORD WAS 12.1 INCHES SET IN 1962

    We are going to see daily snow records all across Dixie today, and flurries as  far south as Mobile, Alabama into Pensacola, Florida!   Two to four inches of snow should blanket Shreveport, Louisiana to Jackson, Mississippi to Atlanta, Georgia today into tonight with some locations getting  higher amounts.  The Carolina coast will also see some snowflakes flying tonight as the storm evenutally pushes offshore tomorrow. 

    We’re also watching a system develop across the Midwest this weekend that will push into the Midatlantic and Northeast Monday into Tuesday.  Looks like 3-6 inches of more snow on top of the feet of snow still on the ground in parts of Maryland which is not going to make a lot of folks happy.

Happy Friday!!!! I gather you got home ok Janice. It's 27 and some wind in N.J. The snow is crunchy and deep the sun is out. I'm not sure if the snow will melt since it cold outside. I will send pictures a little later on my way to the chiropractor my body needs it. A.J. sending hugs and prayers your way. Hope all have a great day.
