I find it funny that the director of the Census feels that it's going great, when we sent in our form within 2 weeks of receiving. A week ago a census worker is at my door saying I must fill out questionnaire with her since I have not mailed my form back??????? She states this is a problem that many forms have been lost, DUPLICATE WORK, DUPLICATE EXPENSES, AND HE FEELS THIS IS GOING GREAT! Way to go Government,

Why doesn't Governor Jindal just bypass the federal government and take matters in to his own hands. He seems to have a lot of good ideas. What would happen to him if he ordered booms, hay, sand barriers, and outside help with out the feds okay?

Thur. or Fri morning someone representing fishing industry complaind BP was asking for W2's to xompensate them for loses. She said the fishing industry is a cash business and there were no W2's. My taxes are helping out on the oil spill, why? When the people in the industry are not paying taxes. NO W2's Ben

we have millions of unemployed people collecting money every week, they should be used to clean up the oil spill around the country,or no more free money from tax payers.

Why do the people on the news go between barrels and gallons. Oil is measured in barrels not gallons. The gallon rate makes it sound worse than it is. The barrel rate is bad enough with out having a number that is 42 times bigger. We need to get this fixed then worry about what happened and fix the problem. Lokk at how long we have been drilling off shore accident free, the percentages are very small.

I understand that they are having problems capturing the oil because of ice crystals forming and impeading the oil flow freezing and restricting the flow. The "top kill" method of pumping mud into the pipe failed to stop the flow, if they can pump mud into the pipe why can't they pump liquid nitrogen into the pipe to freeze the oil and stop the flow. And keep it frozen till the relief wells can be finished?

Message to all the businesses located around the gulf-Purchase your own booms to keep the oil off your coast. When this emergency is over, BILL BP. Why are you waiting on the federal government?

I see you answered the question on the effect of oil spill on air quality ,but why did you not include the effect if any on the quality of rain in the area, remember acid rain in eastern europe.

I can't believe we are sending HAMMAS 4 bil. dollars for aid! It seems to me the questioning of who B. Hussein O. allegence is to , well, let's see ; he bows to Arabs, he bows to our enemies, he sends money to hammas , who hate Israel! Real simple to figure out who HUSSEIN follows! I DO NOT WANT NOR DO WE HAVE THE MONEY TO SEND TO A STATE IN MIDDLE EAST THAT SUPPORTS HATE!

Bill, It's absurd hearing the White House excuses for President Obama's inability (unwillingness) to talk with the BP CEO. President Obama is a Head of State, does this same excuse apply to his interactions with other heads of state in the world. Why doesn't he call the British Prime Minister, since this disaster with BP seems to be leading to a financial disaster for the USA, UK, and BP in addition to the environmental disaster that already exists?

If BP is going to pay for the clean up and all cost associated with the oil spill then could some please tell me why do we need to raise money for the cleanup?

With so many union pension funds underfunded, why can the unions spend millions on political contributions and then expect the government to bail out their pensions?

TRACY WEMMERING

BILL, WHY ARE THE CLEANUP CREWS USING 50GAL.TRASH BAGS AND FLT SHOVELS TO CLEAN UP TAR BALLS? FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN THE SHOVELS PICK UP MORE SAND THAN TAR AND THE BAGS ARE APPROXIMATELY 10 TO 15% FULL WHEN THEY DUCT-TAPE THEM SHUT FOR DISPOSAL. WOULD BE MORE EFFICIENT USINT 5GAL. BUCKETS LINED WITH SAME SIZE TRASH BAGS AND INSTEAD OF LARGE SHOVELS USE SIFTERS LIKE YOU WOULD FIND IN KIDS BEACH BUCKET PLAY SET. AND THE REAL QUESTION IS,HOW ARE THEY DISPOSING OF THE BAGS BEING COLLECTED?
