    Maureen: Makeup artist to the Stars and Presidents!

    Hi everyone!

    If you’re a regular visitor to the blog, you know my good friend Maureen Walsh who also happens to be one of the best makeup artists on the planet.   We call her the  “Keep America Beautiful” Czar here at FOX!   Well, beautiful Miss Maureen was lucky enough to meet someone you may recognize – our 43rd President George W. Bush last night!   She sent me this picture this morning, and I thought I would share it with all of you!  The President is in New York promoting his new book “Decision Points”, and you’ll get to see him on FOX through the week and the weekend talking about the book.  I think Maureen needs her own blog to talk about all great people she meets.   She also is one of the funniest ladies I know and keeps us all laughing while she gets us ready for TV!

    In weather news, it’s been really quiet out there with exception to a few spots on the map: 

    The Midwest is feeling above average temperatures as high pressure dominates the eastern half of the country.  Even the nation’s so called “icebox” International Falls is into the 60s which is very unusual for them!  We broke many records yesterday, and I’m sure we’ll do the same today.  Enjoy it while it lasts!

    Warm and dry for the south, however this means a heightened risk of wildfire danger some spots. 

    The West will see unsettled weather as a storm moves into  the Rockies.  Up to a foot of snow will fall over the mountains of Colorado.   Strong offshore winds for parts of southern California today – those Santa Anas are back with gusts in excess of 40 mph through the passes while a new system across the Northwest will move in on Thursday.

    So that’s about all for now – hope everyone is doing well!  I’m starting to hear Christmas Music in stores and on commericals.  Isn’t it kind of early for this???   Someone make it stop!

Happy Birthday Gwen Sound like it was very special. Prayer to Don.Maureen You meet a very special person a day to remember.I bet you got to put your touch on him Huh,a Job well done. thanks J.D for sharing I sent him a Thank you message when her & Laura left office, I got a couple special Pic. Happy Birthday Gwen and hello everyone.Nice short sleeve weather here in central Texas.Janice, Maureen has a great job,but you girls are beautiful even without makeup.Great picture too. I had the honor of meeting his father at the White House when he was President in 1989.It's a great feeling. What a neat picture! Maureen is quite lucky to "make up" all these celebs. I would have been so nervous, I would have probably poked a make-up brush in GWB's eye. Y'all get to meet some cool folks! Just got back from Bday lunch with my hubby. Got roses from Ben, a cd (Trace Adkins) from Patrick, and calls from Eric (working out of town) and Nick. Also got a call from Nickolas Jr., Katie and Carter as they were headed to school this AM and lots of Facebook well wishes. It's a good day! :)

Hey Janice, that's a great picture of Maureen & President Bush. It must be great to be able to meet so many famous people. In the weather department: it's sunny & warm in Cumberland! We got up to 66 yesterday & they're calling for highs in the 60's through Saturday. I love it! I didn't comment yesterday, but I love the pictures of the little pandas--they're so adorable! The tiger picture is cute, too! Hey to everyone else out there. I hope everyone has a great day! Margie
