Good morning everyone!

The Midwest got a big taste of winter this weekend with some spots getting the most snow for the month of November in decades!  Take a look at these totals:

Thankfully, the Midwest gets a bit of a break today, but a new storm from the West will spread eastward over the next few days.   We won’t see crazy snow though like we saw on Saturday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, a system developing across the Gulf of Mexico is spreading some impressive (and much needed rain) over the Deep South and Southeast.  1-4 inches of rain will soak the area depending on where you live:

This storm is eventually going to move into the Mid Atlantic and the Northeast this week bringing mainly rain, but some snow on the backside.  Once this system moves through, we should have another nice stretch of good weather.

Meanwhile, the West is seeing several storms move through over the next few days.  More specifically the Northwest and into the Rockies.  The southwest, by contrast will be warm and dry with above average temperatures.

And this morning I got to meet Shannon Bream’s lovely Mom Marie!  Shannon is filling in for Megyn this week, and her Mom is here visiting NYC.  (I wish I could’ve given her a better forecast today and tomorrow for sightseeing!)   I was thrilled to have a few minutes with Mom and her daughter.   If you’ve ever wondered if Shannon is just as nice as she seems on TV, take it from me – she’s one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met, and now that I’ve met her Mom, I know where she gets her good-looks and loveliness!
