    I'm back...

    Hi everyone!

    It’s going to take a day or two to get my “footing”.  I have been missing my boys, but the devastating tornado news out of Missouri has taken up much of my day.   Seeing all of the pictures make me thankful that my family is healthy and safe.  My heart aches for all those affected by this latest round of severe weather.   May is typically the busiest month in terms of tornadoes.  Hard to believe considering last month’s historic numbers and the unbelievable loss of life.

    Once again, it’s a harsh reminder that life can change in an instant.  I can’t wait to hug my boys when I get home.

Hi JD! Thanks for posting the Happening Now welcome back. I rarely get to see TV on weekdays, so I knew I wouldn't get to see you on your first day back. Hope all is going a little better today. May it get a bit easier for you each day. Just think...next week starts hurricane season. After the tornadoes and floods, I'm not too keen on hurricane season starting. God be with us all!
