Checked one of our flower beds and discovered one of our Peony's is opening up for the first time. First burgandy one I've ever seen. It is one we bought 3 years ago and we thought had died. I stuck in in a hole anyway and it took off this year. Just how common are these? You gals seem be be up on just about everything!! Sam

Thanks AJ and Margie for your Father's Day wishes.I will be spending tomorrow with my wife and daughter as they are taking me to lunch somewhere.It's a surprise. Without exaggeration, there are at least 100 geese just off my patio. They are not afraid of Rolex as she doesn't bother them. She walks right past them and they know it. However, in my living room I have a 100 gal tank filled with fish from the pond. Bass, blue gills, sun fish and crawfish. When I feed (4 times a day) Rolex is very jealous.

Ohhh JD Clare would have treasured this picture he LOVED Cars, we saw it 26 times I kid you not and Mater was his favorite we saw once where the different cars were in cereal boxes and wouldn't you know we bought one and ours had Mater!!!!!! I still treasure it, it was by his table by his chair every day and you look terrific and always that glowing smile lights up the room..went to Reagan Library today and it was one more thing off my bucket list and wonderful, marvelelous.AJ

Hi all. Larry the Cable Guy is so funny...although a little inappropriate at times. Don, I too would have thought it was safe to take a 14 yr old. Who knew! Congrats, JD, on 4 years. If we make it to Aug 15, Dwane and I will celebrate 36 years married/38 together. That's hard to believe! I must have only been 2 or 3 when we got together! Been mighty busy this week...still haven't caught up since my days off for trip to San Antonio. HOT here as well and DRY! Please send rain! TTFN! :)

I think larry is great. About four years ago I saw him in person here in Richmond. Made the mistake of taking my grand-daughter who was 14 at the time. Was a little off color and was sorry I brought her with me.

Great picture, Janice! I'm sure Matthew will be truly impressed! You get to meet all kinds of interesting people and I'm jealous! I hope Teddy's doctor's appt. went well yesterday. It is hard to believe he's 4 months old already! By the way, thanks for liberating my post from the spam filter on the previous thread. It would be nice if the spam filter actually stopped the spam and not the legitimate posts. It's pretty bad when the FNC spam filter blocks links to its own web site! Margie
