    Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the delay.  I’ve been trying to post the video I did this morning on the Today Show!

They did a wonderful job with the piece.   I must admit I was a little nervous (as I usually am) with subjects that are so personal, but it accomplished what I wanted it to do, and that is bring awareness to an often misunderstood and complicated disease.  And of course, show off the three handsome men in my life!

Thanks to all of you on this blog for your continued love and support.  It means the world to me.

    JD

This piece was cogent, well-wirettn, and pithy.

Good Monday mornin' guys! JD will probably get a new thread up shortly, but I'll go ahead and say "hello" on this one. Very busy weekend! Nick flew in for 2 days from WA before he starts his water survival training in FL. We tried to make all his favorite dishes...fried deer tenderloin, mashed potatoes w/gravy and homemade biscuits. Also did YooHoo ice cream in our freezer. Stuffed, but very happy to have all my chicks under my wings for a short while. I'll check in later. TTFN! Gwen :)

Where is everyone today? It's been quiet on the blog. Dolores, congratulations to your grandson! I'm sure you are a very proud grandma! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The weather around here has been cloudy and cool. The partly sunny forecast for today turned into maybe an hour of the sun poking through the overcast skies--and that's it. Does that qualify for partly sunny??? I guess it's better than nothing. I wish everyone a great week ahead! Margie

JD, Thanks for the film clip. You and Sean were terrific and are truly an inspiration for folks with MS. Dolores, congrats to your grandson for the victory and long knock. I am sure you are quite proud. Hot and dry here. My water and electric bill scare the bejeebers out of me. Hope all are having a great weekend. JB

Hi AJ (and all), we have a chilly day in Cumberland today. It's only 72 with clouds & wind so there's actually a wind chill facor today! I wish I could share my weather with those who have been dealing with the awful heat. I just came in from doing some yard work. It's perfect weather for working outside. It is hard to believe it's almost July. I don't know where the time has gone. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Margie

Hi Janice. on the foxnews.com website, Tucson is misspelled. See the attached link. http://www.foxnews.com/weather/your-weather/index.html?locId=USAZ0136. It not TUSCON. As a former Tucsonan, I cringe when I see the misspelling. Thank you

Janice, I just wanted to say Thank you! for going on the show to share your story and talk about MS. I was just recently diagnosed and have begun treatment. It was very overwhelming, and still is, but I am lucky to have a strong support system with my family. It is very encouraging to know that there are others out there with MS and that you are doing so well! It gives me hope that I will live a long happy strong life as you are!

Dear Janice, I just watched your video again and just had to tell you, you have never looked more beautiful and sat there with such gentleness and Grace and advice, and seeing Sean look at you, just made my heart go pitter, patter and seeing you both with the boys, pray your health will continue to treat you kindly and I thank God for the way he has blessed you both. xoAJ

Nice story. My son-in-law had the same symptons. Going to get him to watch the video. Been without the internet and phones for most of the day. Comcast just left after fixing the problem.
