Hey folks, I had an odd occurrence on my way to work this morning--I actually had the sun in my eyes! I can't remember the last time I had sun in my eyes. We had a little leftover rain overnight but it looks like the sun is trying to come out. I don't know if it will win the battle but at least it was shining a little. We had quite a bit of rain yesterday & it was chilly. I think it's supposed to get warmer as the week goes on--I'll believe it when I see it! Have a great day, all! Margie

Good morning all it is 58 right now and I am loving it. still no rain . Don I now have that song in my head. Ha ha Maybe if I sing Rain drops keep falling on my head it will rain.Oh now that is in my head. Ha ha Hope my TX buddy's were not near the chemical plant fire. In Dallas we could see some smoke and I am about 40 miles from it. Hope all are well and have a great day PJ

Hi folks! Busy weekend with family reunion and a birthday party. Didn't get much rest, but enjoyed seeing loved ones I haven't seen for a while. Hubby and I moved the camper back out to the lake for 10 days or so. Lovin' this weather! Lows in the 40s and highs in mid 70s. Even better...low, low humidity. Perfect Fall weather! We could use a little rain, but these blue, clear skies are so awesome! Hoping all have a great week! Gwen :)

Boy this blog has been quiet this weekend. I just thougt I'd say hi to anyone who was out there. It's raining again today. (So what else is new????) I heard reports of snow flurries in the higher elevations this morning. It was 44 here so it doesn't surprise me that there were a few flurries in the higher elevations. I just have one word for that--yucky! Enjoy what's left of the weekend. Margie

Well folks, October has started the way September ended--wet! We got 12.03 inches of rain in September. So far today, we have 3/4 of an inch. It's been in the 40's all day & just plain yucky! I've felt cold all day & haven't gone out of my house except to get the mail. I wish I could send some of my rain to the folks in TX & OK. Hopefully the sun will shine again soon. Have a great rest of the weekend, all. Margie

Good morning all. It is 58 right now going up to 84 . Yea all week the temps will be in the mid 80's and low 60's YEA now if we could get some rain. Dolores, Janice deleted the spam earlier today after I had posted my comment. That happens frequently. We often complain about the spam and Janice comes and rescues us! Janice..the video of your two little boys and husband is so adorable. To hear a child laugh like that causes an adult to join in. I read recently that if someone laughs more, it is good for the entire body and mind, and makes one live longer. If that is true, we better start laughing more! Thanks for sharing the video. Audrey

JD, Thanks for sharing the video with us. I enjoyed it immensely. There is something about a baby's laughter that makes all problems seem to vanish(at least for a little while). Great, now we have spam on this thread. You just can't escape it! As far as the weather is concerned--we had a few sprinkles this morning but the sun managed to poke through the clouds every once in a while. We've gotten almost 12 inches of rain this month.
