FOX News Weather Blog

    Good morning everyone!

Well, I have to start off this post by singing Happy 15th Birthday to Fox News!  “Happy Birthday to you…Happy Birthday to you….” Thankfully you can’t hear me!  HA!

They’ve put some pretty fantastic promos together to celebrate!

And handsome Bill Hemmer will host a birthday celebration talking to all our great anchors and reporters tonight at 10pm eastern time.

I know you’ve heard me say this before, but this place really is a second family to me.  I was hired in January of 2004, and  feel so fortunate to work for this company.  It truly is the best job I’ve ever had, and it’s because I work with people I truly enjoy being around.  It also helps to have a boss who really does care about his employees.  We all genuinely like one another, and I think that comes across our air.

Since I’ve been at Fox  I’ve gotten engaged, married and had a family.  I think the fact that I love my job has certainly made me a better wife, mom and weather forecaster!

And thanks to all of you who make my job a lot more fun, and a pleasure to come to work!  You deserve a piece of the cake too!

Have a great weekend, everyone!  Cheers to another 15 years!

Hey folks, I'm just checking in to say hello. I took a hundred mile drive around Garrett County today photographing the fall foliage. It's kind of hit and miss but I did find some beautiful spots. The wind and rain we got a week ago knocked a lot of the leaves off the trees and some areas haven't turned yet but there was still some color in various spots. The mountains are so beautiful. I hope everyone has a great week. Margie

Congratulations on your 15th anniversary!! The mainstream media did not and does not represent the views of the majority of the people. Fox shows both sides of the issues, which had been lacking since at least the late 50's or early sixties. Fox was the first to give the otherside of an issue and not just the left side of the issue. The public was thirsting for a fair and balanced news show, so it makes sense that FOX is NUMBER ONE!

Happy Birthday, FOX! You've changed our lives by providing good, honest information for so many years. I hope to hear you for many, many more years to come. Each and everyone of you that are part of FOX are truly great. I love you all so very much that I had to get Sirus radio. Keep up the great work!

I'm happy for the 15yrs,disappointed in Fox for letting Glen Beck go. He opened a lot of eyes and told us the stuff no one really wants to hear, but needs to be told.Keep up the good work and tell the truth and investigate all the wrong doings going on.

Happy 15th to all those affiliated with FNC. Your enjoyment of your work environment shows through in your efforts. May the next 15 be even more successful(if possible). Cloudy and 80 right now with a chance of rain. Boy, do we need it. Our paper said we are moving to stage 4 in water crisis, which means watering the grass is now not allowed. I guess I will be laying sod AGAIN next year. Hope all have a great weekend! JB

Happy Birthday FNC! I hope you will include Glenn Beck in your celebration. Although he has left the network, he was a SIGNIFICANT part of your success.

Happy 15th Birthday FOX NEWS. Can you believe that is the only station my husband John and I enjoy watching the news, weather, etc. on. Of course, he has made a comment that they really hire "beautiful blonds." :) JD, He thinks you are pretty and do a wonderful job. Always making it so personal. So, once again, happy birthday to all of you at FOX. Looking forward to seeing Bill Hemmer and the gang tonight "celebrating." Audrey

Happy 15th Fox! My how time flies when you're having fun! I believe I started watching Fox around 1998-99...sometime during the Clinton scandal. Gosh...has it been that long! Still a big fan and trust Fox for my news above any other. AJ, I plan to enjoy vacation...calories and all! The Smokies have the best fudge shops around. I usually bring back fudge as souvenirs for family & friends. The grandkids usually get tee shirts and moccasins. Y'all have a great weekend! Gwen :)
