Hi everyone. I see we got spammed again. I just don't understand what the thrill is in spamming blogs. People really do need to get a life. Our weather today is rainy. It started last night & we've gotten almost an inch already. We had a nice stretch of sunny days but all good things must come to an end. I hope the folks in TX continue to get some rain. You certainly need it more than we do up this way. Have a great day, all! Margie

If you'd like to read a really heart-warming story, do a search for "Katelyn Simpson". Katelyn is the student at Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood, MS, who was crowned Homecoming Queen last Friday night. Katelyn has Down Syndrome. It's a sweet story that might just bring a smile to your face. I sent an email to Fox and Friends and told them they needed to interview Katelyn and her dad. Sure would beat some of the other so-called "news" we're fed each day. Gwen :)

Great picture from Utah! I love the colors of fall. It's such a beautiful time of year. It's cloudy here today & they're calling for rain later in the day. We certainly had a great stretch of beautiful warm & sunny days so I guess I won't complain about the rain. Janice, I'll be looking forward to seeing pictures of your beautiful little guys all dressed up for Halloween! I'm sure they'll be adorable in their little costumes. Have a great day, all! Margie

Welcome to Autumn. What a beautiful time of the year. The weather here has been almost like summer, and with all the colors shouting from the landscape, one can only enjoy the creation afforded to us. Amd with that, we will wait with baited breath for the pictures of the little fireman and pumpkin come Halloween. Have a wonderful day all. Audrey

Beautiful picture from Utah! I do love Fall! We're cloudy today, but no rain yet. Will probably miss us even though it would be nice to get a little. My friend in Bastrop, TX reports 2.5 inches of rain yesterday. YEA!! So glad they finally got some. Had an absolutely perfect day at the lake yesterday with all 4 sons, 2 DILs and 5 grandkids. Grilled hot dogs, rode bikes, tossed the football. If it had been any better, I couldn't have stood it! Good memories with those I love most! :)

Very nice. We are not much above sea level so we are 6 to 8 weeks from fall colors. Suppose to have rain starting tonight and heavy rain tomorrow ending Thursday. It's what hit Florida and coming north.
