    In weather news, South Florida is seeing plenty of moisture streaming in thanks to a stalled cold front.   We’re also watching an area of low pressure in the Yucatan Channel that has a shot at becoming a depression or the next named storm.  Whatever the case, Florida will see a lot more rain in the next few days because of it – and the Northeast will also see some of this moisture pushed their way midweek.  UGH!

Enjoying the cooler weather here. Windows open all day means not using the A/C and hopefully much lower electric bill. Dolores, I hope the medication takes care of the ulcer. Hey,there all bloggers.Hope everyone is enjoying beautifull Fall weather.Ok had alittle frost in the north.This AM was 39 in Edmond.65 today and sunny.Just beautifull weather.The medication the Dr.gave me for this Peptic ulcer[or one of them],gave me a few not so great side effects,so I am waiting to hear what next.Have to be on this med for 2 weeks.Grandson's wedding in ten days.Thanks AJ for the support on the other thread.Appreciate it a lot.Obama can't speak without Mr teleprompter.

Getting back to the truck that was taken with the teleprompter, podium and sound system. Local news is reporting the keys were left in the ignition, The (empty) truck was recovered. Inside job? Or the "highly capable" people that work for Obama.

Good Wednesday to JD and all bloggers. Have been busy this week. Weather in the 40's and 50's. Yikes. Is anyone looking forward to winter? The pics are beautiful as ever. Keep them coming. Husband John and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary today, the 19th. We both lost our mates in '98, met in Florida, and here we are 10 years later! Blessings to all of you. Audrey

Hello JD and JD Bloggers... Oh gosh it has been a busy summer with caring for my sweet parents. Back home and we are enjoying the Fall colors in the mtns of NC. Good morning all we got a good soaking in Dallas last night. It is 56 right now high will be 67. Yea no more 100 temps in TX. I love the fall pictures. Hope all have a great day. PJ

When I was a boy in the late 40's and early 50's, my parents and I made a couple of trips along Skyline Drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We drove from Gatlinburg in the Great Smokies around to North Carolina and then headed north up Skyline Drive. I returned in 1968 when I got married in late October. The colors were still vibrant. Talk about God's Country!

51 at 11am, sunny and clear. Rain is due in Wednesday A.M. The areas of hardwoods are really colorful in the fall. Around here all we have for color are a few maples. The alder leaves just fall off green! Conifers never change!!

Hey Janice, thanks for the beautiful pictures. However, the second picture is the same one you posted the other day. It's the Utah picture instead of the Wyoming/Montana picture.
