Hi,everyone.I am orignally from southern New York, and know how beautiful the colors can be.Ok does'nt have those kinds of fall colors. It does'nt get very cold until until late Nov or Dec,and then the leaves just fall after a hard freeze. Getting ready for my trip to grandson's wedding, looking forward to seeing everyone. It is supposed to be a pretty day, temps in the low 60's and sunny. It is aearly evening wedding ceremony outside and reception in the Country Club.So should be nice. All take care.

Hey Gwen, I'm glad you had a nice vacation. I bet it was pretty down there. That's a beautiful area. Hey to everyone else out there. It's a soggy day in Cumberland. We've gotten almost a half inch of rain already and it's going to be raining for quite some time. With the temperature only in the 40's, I'm sure it's cold out there. I don't work until 1:00 today so hopefully it will stop raining & warm up a little by then. Have a great day, all! Margie
Gwen
Hi everybody! Made it back yesterday from my mountain vacation. Had so much fun! And it was GORGEOUS...even snowed on the mountains between Cherokee and Maggie Valley. I'm trying to get my son (Ben) to show me how to tweet those pics. I don't twitter, but he does. Maybe he can teach an old dog a new trick. BTW, JD, all 4 of my sons were very different. Even the twins did not do things at the same pace as each other. Celebrate their individuality. Gwen :)

Great, I was just thinking that we haven't had any spam on the blog for a little while and now it's back--bummer! Have a great afternoon, everyone (except the spammers)! Margie

Hey folks, it's a chilly but sunny morning in Cumberland. It's going to be a beautiful day with a high close to 70. I wish I had the day off. AJ, the first picture with the stone house is at the retirement community where my parents live. (It's a guest house.) The whole main drive is lined with those trees that turn a beautiful red in the fall. That whole area of Pennsylvania is beautiful. I hope everyone has a great day today. I hope Gwen is enjoying her trip. Take care, all. Margie

Margie, thanks for the beautiful pictures again of the wonderous coloring book of Mother Nature and what lovely country roads I would love to be travelling on....Well, as I heard many times that they threw away the mold when they made me and I realize that is the same for each of us including Matthew and Teddy and especially their Mom!!! Sure hope the hurricane goes far away from all..AJ

Hi all: Oh Janice. I smiled when I read your note about your boys being different in many areas of "getting bigger." Remember, God made each one of us unique, and Matthew and Teddy will probably not do too much the same as they go through life. How much fun that will be! My three children were all different in their own way. Enjoyed more beautiful pics from Margie. Thanks for sharing. Its a great time of the year. Audrey

Don't compare them Janice. You'll go crazy. One of my 4 walked at 18 months and the youngest (who is now the head mechanic for Continental) was in the middle of the dining room table the day he turned 9 months old. THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT.
