  • ANOTHER SOUTHWEST BLAST!

    Hi everyone

A busy day/night in the Fox Extreme Weather Center as ANOTHER winter storm hits the southwest.  This time, heavy snow and blizzard conditions are in the forecast with some areas getting close to two feet of new snow, wind gusts of 50 mph and white out conditions:

Tonight and tomorrow morning will be the worst weather as the storm moves east.  After that, it will mainly be a rain event as it moves over the Southeast and up across the Ohio Valley.

We also could see a threat for severe weather tonight as the cold front slices through some relatively warmer air ahead of it:

Hope you’re all staying warm.   It’s going to be a busy night – I’ll try to check in later on…

Prayers to all of you who are or have family/friends under the weather!  Both my little ones have been sick on and off for weeks now.

    JD

Here in the Great Northwest, temperatures are in the March range with buckets of rain predicted for the holiday - yuk! Even my mean snow dance doesn't bring in the snow. Think I just lost my ho-ho.

Auddrey from Indiana

Hi everyone: Hope all are well as we anticipate celebrating more this week. Also hope JD and boys are feeling better. Maybe we should celebrate Christmas in July when everyone seems to feel OK. Anyway, husbband John is feeling much better since his bout with pneumonia. Thanks for praying. Have a great day. Cool today here in Indiana, but no snow or rain. Audrey

Hi guys! Much warmer here today...probably will storm later, but not expecting anything too bad. Boy, you guys in the MidWest sure look to be getting hit hard. Hope y'all stay safe. I kept waiting to see Rick Reichmuth's report from Oklahoma this morning, but had to leave for work before he came on. My thoughts and prayers are with our bloggers and families as they deal with health issues. We hope for good news from all of you soon. Catch y'all later! Gwen :)

Hi everyone. I thought I'd stop by to say hello since things have been a little quiet. I'm glad I don't live in the part of the country getting hit by the blizzard. It certainly sounds nasty! It was supposed to be mostly sunny today but nobody told all the clouds that so it was pretty cloudy with the sun making an occasional appearance. It got to the low 50's today but with the wind & clouds, it didn't feel very nice. Take care, all. Margie
