Hey to everyone.Weather here OK is springlike.Temps ine the 50's and 60's.Some wind and rain is predicted for the few days.cooler temps for the weekend.Did some ironing,yes,ironing,yesterday.I like my pillow cases,ironed to a crisp,fresh feeling when I get into bed.My daughters think I'm crazy for ironing,when I can just fold them and put them in my linen closet.But I'm from the old school and like crisp,ironed linen.Hope are safe and warm or cool to your satisfaction.Dolores

WOW! I cannot in my wildest imagination wrap my head around -55 degrees! I don't know how you folks in Alaska do it, but I'll give you this...you're tougher than I. When I say I like cold weather, I'm talking about lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s. That is cold weather in Mississippi. I did think I was going to have to build an ark earlier today, but that front has passed. Now it's partly cloudy and near 70. Hard to believe it's February 1! Y'all have a great day! Gwen :)

Good morning to everyone. I hope that Larry and Janice and all those in Alaska can get some relief from the extreme cold. Be careful up there! It is 60 here with a high predicted in the 70's this afternoon. Just 9 more months until the end of political ads on tv. Can't wait! Take care all, JB

We have been -30 to -55 nearly 1 1/2 months now in Chuathbaluk, Alaska. I keep hoping for warm weather but no luck. If someone tells you that -55 is no colder that -20 don't believe it. This kind of cold will freeze your nose shut and frost your lungs in a matter of minutes. I dream of the 70 degree weather Arizona has.

It is currently -40 F, or at least that is as low as my thermometer reads....but it's a DRY cold!

Hi Janice and all bloggers. Got a glimpse at you JD doing the weather on Fox this a.m. Such a nice job, and you always look so lovely. This is crazy weather. We have 50 plus today and expect above temps for the next week to 10 days. Can't beat it! Our part of the country is bracing for the Super Bowl with the Giants and Pats. Go Giants and Eli. Audrey
