Gwen and BG, I agree with you on not going to the movies very often. My last two movies I viewed at the theater were Chicago and Tootsie. Usually a good movie will be on DVD or pay per view(for about half the price) and waiting a month isn't that big of a deal. Usually the local cinema is filthy and noisy. Who needs it! Warm and damp here today. Hope all are well. JB
Gwen
BG, you are not weird or different. The last movie I went to see in the theater was Titanic. I was disappointed in it. We do get DVDs and watch. I really want to go see Act of Valor, but I know my husband will not go to the theater. So will wait for the DVD. One of my boys gave me The Help for Christmas. Haven't watched it yet, but plan to soon. Heavy, soaking rains today in MySouth. Wouldn't ya know it...hubby is taking the camper to our favorite campsite this morning. TTFN! Gwen :)

The Artist was brilliant, Decendants was fantastic, Moneyball..great,Margaret Thatcher fair, acting fantastic..here we get $6 tickets before 12PM and its pouring in San Diego at the moment with chance of hail later, so no watering needed this week..yeaaaaa...gas nearing $5.....not yeaaaaa..JD and Margie hope you folks are feeling good these days and on to March we march..AJ

Good Monday afternoon everyone. Margie, hope you and all the ones not feeling so well, have heeled by now. Sounds like not too many watched the Oscars last night. I didn't either. The only things I watch on TV are local news, weather and sports and of course Fox News. The last time I went to the movies, I went to see Jaws I. Can you remember the year? Am I weird, different or both? Anyway, cloudy and 66 degrees with rain for tomorrow. Good evening to all. BG.
Gwen
Hi everyone. Cool, cloudy day in MySouth today with rain tomorrow. Not much going on here...it's just Monday. What can I say? I didn't watch Oscars either. It seems to drag on forever..even with Billy Crystal hosting. NCIS marathon was on yesterday, so I caught several episodes. Love that show! Dolores, I do remember Moonlighting very well. It was really good. Sassy and well written. Hope all are feeling much better. Take care! Gwen :)

Hi Everyone. It's nice to see some action on the blog. We have a mild 61 but it's still windy out. Thankfully, it's not nearly as windy as it was Friday night/Saturday. We had a beautiful sunny morning but some clouds have moved in. I'm feeling better today than I did over the weekend. I don't have a headache but I do still feel the pressure in my sinuses. Janice, I hope you & your family are feeling better. There's plenty of stuff going around. Have a great afternoon, everyone. Margie

Hi JD and Bloggers: JD, saw you on Fox this a.m. You looked lovely as usual with your "highlights" on your hair. Very beautiful. Enjoyed a lovely week-end of weather with sun but the temps were in the 40's. Can't believe Spring is around the corner and the "white stuff" has managed to stay away most of the Winter. No, we did not watch the Oscars since we are not "movie watchers" for the most part. We are wrapped up in college basketball...looking forward to March Madness. What fun. Audrey

It was a very quiet weekend in here. Since I never went to the movies last year, I didn't watch the Oscars tonight. I miss the old Oscar shows when Johnny Carson and Bob Hope were the mc's. We have had great weather here recently. Morning lows in the 30-40's and highs in the 60-70's. May all have a great week ahead. JB

Hey folks, it's cold and windy in Cumberland. It is REALLY windy in Cumberland. The winds started picking up in late afternoon yesterday & by the evening they were howling. The high wind gust was 45 mph yesterday & so far today the high gust is 36 mph. With the temperature in the 30's, the wind chill is in the teens. It's cold out there! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. Take care, all. Margie

Hi JD and Bloggers: Saw you for a minute on Fox today, Janice, hope you are feeling better. We miss you. It's been snowing lightly most of the day with temps in the 30's. The initial forecast was for our area to get 4-9 inches of the white stuff, but nothing has accumulated. Thank goodness. Although it is pretty to watch from the inside. We're doing well here, and we hope all of you are doing the same. Have a wonderful week-end in whatever you have planned. Audrey
Gwen
Afternoon all. We are also back to chilly temps (mid 50s) after being mid 70s yesterday. At least we didn't have the storms as expected. They tracked south of us, so was good news for our area. Hope all our sick folks are beginning to feel better. Catch y'all later! Gwen :)

JD, I just saw your weather spot with Megyn a few minutes ago. I am glad you're feeling better(and looking marvelous as usual!). I hope and pray Don and Rolex are safe from the extreme weather where they are. Margie, I hope the sinuses are improving. We were in the 80's yesterday, but clear and cool in the 50's now. May all have a great and safe weekend, JB

Hi Everyone, we're supposed to get up to the upper 50's today but it's only a cold & rainy 45 right now. The winds haven't arrived yet but we are under a high wind warning. I hope everyone has a great weekend & that all those not feeling well will feel better. I'm hoping to get rid of my sinus headaches soon. At least I don't feel as bad today as I did yesterday. Have a great weekend, everyone! Margie
