  • Moderate Risk for severe weather tonight

Good morning everyone!  Happy Friday!   Just watching the Shuttle Enterprise landing at JFK.  What an amazing sight!    Laura Ingle interviewed Leonard Nimoy which was extra cool as well.

Just a heads up today if you live across the Central Plains – we have a “moderate” risk for severe weather across Eastern KS and Western MO later this afternoon/tonight.  Some of the larger cities like Kansas City, Wichita, Joplin, Salina aren’t in the bullseye, but are close enough to be threatened:

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!  Hug the ones you love!

Evening, folks! Hope all have been having a great weekend. Ours has been very busy, but it's been hot (upper 80s) here all weekend. I'm not ready for hot Summertime just yet! Margie, as I recall, I had to take the pain meds for several days. I've never done well with paid meds either. I'll certainly be saying a prayer for you regarding your results. Catch y'all later! Gwen :)

Hi bloggers: Having a nice week-end. Apparently someone who enjoys spamming is not! Maybe he or she needs to get a fulltime job! Oh well. Weather today in our area started out sunny and is now cloudy with possible rain showers. Suppose to be in the 70's all week with rain off and on. Guess we can use both of these! Time for some mexican food tonight. Yummy! Best of luck with your results Margie. We're praying all will go well for you. Let us know. Audrey

Great, now the spammers have hit this thread. I'm just posting something so you don't see the spam the first thing. Have a great day, everyone! Margie

Hey folks, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. It's sunny here today after a dreary day yesterday. I'm hoping the sunshine will cheer me up a little. I've been dragging & I hope I get my energy back before I have to go back to work tomorrow. I stopped taking the stronger pain killer on Friday because it was really knocking me for a loop, but I still have pain & the Ibuprofen isn't working as well. Hopefully I'll find out the results tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. Take care, all. Margie

Hey Janice, when I check my weather on FoxNews website the wrong map has been coming up all weekend. I live in Howard, CO, 81233, and I get the map of the NE. Could you have someone fix this please? Bill

Hey Don, I heard yesterday that the Enterprise probably wouldn't be ready until July. They are going to build a special pavilion or something for it. They showed cranes moving some of the current display in order to make room for it. I'd love to see it up close and personal someday. Hey to everyone else out there. Where is everybody??? I hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm still trying to recover from my ordeal on Wednesday. Have a great day, everyone! Margie

First report was the Enterprise would be on the Interpid next week. This morning they are now saying in June and the public will not be able to see it till mid July

Anyone who ever visits NYC should visit The Interpid. Enterprise will be there next week. The Interpid was the carrier who picked up the astronuts when they landed in the ocean in the early 60's. We use to take our steam boat from Liberty State Park to the Interpid and drew crowds off the deck watching us. It was a replica of 150 year old Navy steamboat.
