Why is it that Fox weather never show whats going on in the Pacific north West or the west coast of the country. It's like the East coast up to Texas is all that matters. You would think you would show the whole country, since we are you viewers too! We get the weather first and then it heads your way. Bill

Hey folks. I'm just posting something so you don't see the spam the first thing on the blog. My parents and I went to Ruby Tuesday this afternoon and then I did some grocery shopping for them. Now I'm going to take a nap because I'm tired! Have a great weekend, everyone! Margie

Hey everyone. I just want to let you know that I told my parents the news this evening after we had supper. They took it rather well, actually. I started off by telling them the whole adventure of my original mammogram & went from there. They are obviously concerned, but they handled the news very well, thank God. I stressed the part of it being stage 0 & that I won't need chemo & I think that helped. Thank you my sweet blogging friends for being such a great support. I love you all! Margie

Hi Margie and bloggers: We believe in prayer Margie, and we know God will help you get through this time in your life. Our prayers go out to you, and also as you share this news with your parents. May you have real peace in knowing that God is in control. Blessings on you and the rest of the bloggers as you share your week-end with those you love. Gloomy and cool today. Time to take a short trip to Indianapolis this week-end to see some of those precious great grandchildren. Audrey

Hey everyone. Thank you all for your support. I appreciate it very much! I had a pretty restful sleep last night so I'm feeling pretty good this morning. I have a comp day today since I worked 2 Sundays ago. It was nice to sleep in. I did really well yesterday. Actually, I shook more on the day I lost my job than I did yesterday. I'm more worried about how my parents will take this than I am about getting the news myself. I'll be talking to them this afternoon/evening. Thanks again, all. Margie

Hey folks, I went to see my surgeon this afternoon for a follow-up visit. The good news is that he removed the whole area that showed up on the mammogram. The bad news is that it is the earliest stage (stage 0) of breast cancer called ductal carcinoma in situ. That's a fancy way of saying that everything was confined to the duct & nothing has spread. I will need to go for some radiation therapy as well as tamoxifen. I haven't told my parents so I'll have to do that tomorrow--not fun. I'm fine. M

Don, we're supposed to get up to 89 today but it has a long way to go. It's a drizzly 64 right now. It actually feels good out there since it's really stuffy in my office. My house is really stuffy so I may have to put an air conditioner in my bedroom soon. I'll have to heal up from my biopsy before I can lift something that heavy, though. Hey to everyone else out there. I hope everyone is safe & comfortable wherever you are. It looks like it's hot in most of the country. Take care, all. Margie
