Great news that all went well with Teddy! Hope this takes care of his health problems. Sad day for the home team...the Pirates are out of the tourney. Nickolas, Jr. was really sad, but his Mamaw (Papaw, too) was very pleased with how well he played. His Uncle Eric says he is like a little Ninja warrior on the field. Very intense! There's always next year. Lovely day in MySouth. Clear and upper 80s. Should be a really good day. Hope all have a wonderful Wednesday! Gwen :)

I really wish the two posts below this would actually go to another planet(and stay there). JD, happy to hear the procedure went well with Teddy. I know it is a scary thing to be a parent when your child has to go through something like this. Harder on the parent than the child usually. Had storms and high winds this afternoon, but calm now. May all have a good hump day tomorrow. JB

Hey AJ! I had an appointment with my oncologist this afternoon. I was there for 3 1/2 hours! I waited that long to spend about 2 minutes with the doctor. All my blood work was fine so that was good news. At least I don't have to go back for 3 months. I knew I'd be there a long time so I brought one of Bill O'Reilly's books. I read about a third of it & would have read more but I took time out to watch some of the news on FNC. So far the radiation is going well. Take care, everyone. Margie

JD, I'll definitely say a prayer for little Teddy (and for Mom and Dad, too). It's no fun when your little one has a procedure like this done, even though it relatively safe. Three of my four boys had to have tubes. I can relate to your worry. Thoughts and prayers for you and yours tomorrow. Gwen :)

Good afternoon to our dear blogger family. Margie, I'm flying from Austin,Tx. to Baltimore/Maryland airport. We are playing Navy in November. Wonder if we will be flying of Cumberland? Going sight seeing in Annapolis before the game. Yesterday gas was 2.96 a gallon. We took 4 of our vehicles and filled them up. Clear and hot up to 100 this afternoon.Yak.Good day to all.BG.

Happy Monday, guys! We've had a rainy weekend in east central MS, but nothing to compare with the areas down on the Gulf. We pretty much got what we needed without the excess they did. Our Pirates won their Friday night game. It was a squeaker...21 to 20 in the last at bat. Next game is tomorrow night if the rain doesn't move back in. Hi, Joni. Good to hear from you. I have my NC vacation booked for October. Can't wait! Margie, We never quite make it up to MD. Maybe one day. TTFN :)

Hey Joni! It's good to see you back on the blog! We miss our "family" members when they're gone for a while! I think some of that rain that you're getting is making its way up north because they're calling for rain here this afternoon. I was going to bring an umbrella but I forgot. Hey Don. I just checked my weather station. We hit 92 today & yesterday it got up to 90. I stayed inside today because I tired myself out yesterday driving around God's country! I love this area & I love just getting in my car to go out for a drive. I filled up with gas yesterday at Martin's. With 30 cents off a gallon, I paid $3.12. I wish it was $3.12 before the discount! It's nice to see gas prices going down for a change! Margie

Hi Everyone! I'm just checking in to say hello and to cover up the spam so you don't see it first thing on the blog. We had a beautiful hot day yesterday. I saw 88 on my thermometer at one point but I don't know if that was the high. I had enough energy to go for a drive & I got some great pictures of the mountains. I love Western Maryland. If you like mountains, you'll have to come for a visit. There are plenty of places to stay & things to see & do! Have a great Sunday, everyone! Margie
