A sad day for OKC Thunder came home this AM,after losing to The Heat. There were lots of people waiting for them.Hey,it was great they got to the finals.Always next year, they are a great team and they have a great future.Sunny, warm, and humid today.Tempe in the high 90's and 100's for the next few days.I hate summer and stay indoors after 11AM.Hope everyone is well, stay safe,Little Bentlie is 3 months old and thriving and beautiful.God has blessed us with this angel.Take care,Dolores.

AJ, my supervisor gave me a small electric fan that I have pointed at my desk. It feels good! I've been sticking my head in the freezer every time I get ice out! It is another humid day today. I don't think it's supposed to be quite as hot as the last couple days so we'll see. The humidity is bad, though. I heard DC not only set a record high yesterday (99) but set a record for the highest low temperature. It only got down to 78 for a low. Stay cool everyone! Margie

Margie, when I first started getting hot flashes 18 years ago (oh my)I use to buy all those $1.00 little battery fans from Dollar Tree and Walmart, they are wonderful, also, sticking your head in the freezer a few seconds helps and drinking ice water too!! Sorry for the heat wave back there you guys, stay cool best way you can..AJ

Hey everyone! It's coming up on noon & we're at 86 with a heat index of 93. What fun! I hope everyone is staying cool. At least it's comfortable inside so I think that's where I'll stay! I'm glad the first hurricane of the season is a "tame" one & won't affect land. The fisherman will have to watch out. Have a great afternoon, all! Margie

Sounds like this would be a good time for Mississippi to run backwards again.
