Tornado Watch issued in central US as potentially life-threatening severe weather outbreak begins to fire up

NOAA's Storm Prediction Center has issued its first Tornado Watch ahead of a dangerous and potentially life-threatening severe weather outbreak Monday that has millions of people in the central U.S. on alert for intense supercell thunderstorms that will likely be capable of producing long-track tornadoes, giant hail and hurricane-force wind gusts.
