Yea,the marine layer didn’t keep us from enjoying our beautiful San Marcos fireworks without even leaving my doorstep, but no so good in San Diego, but bust and a lot of disappointed folks watching on the bay…I don’t know what’s wrong with people Margie and hope your stormy weather goes away..Gwen sounds like lots of camping fun, hope you enjoyed your fireworks..AJ

Hi, guys! Happy 4th of July! I could have sworn I posted something yesterday on this thread, but I don’t see it. So, here’s hoping all are well on this 4th. We have had boiled shrimp, grilled deer burgers and fried catfish fillets this week. We’re camping in a group of 6 campers. It’s kind of different from what we normally do, but it’s been fun so far. We’ll be in the group camp through Friday. Y’all have a great rest of the day. I’m off to watch the fireworks display! TTFN! Gwen

Awesome fireworks display in Cumberland tonight. However, it is of the thunderstorm variety–something we don’t need around here. I can’t believe that there are stupid people out setting off fireworks when there is so much lightning around. I was out on my front porch & sirens were blaring. The good thing is that there was hardly any wind in my area. It looks a lot worse just east of town. However, there is an overabundance of dopey people! Margie

52, overcast and feels muggy!? How’s it feel muggy at 52 degrees? Usually we have lots of fireworks going off around our neighborhood but very few this year. Someone across the river, up Bear Gulch road must have some huge ones though as usual. His make the commercial exhibits sound tame!!
