Boy, sometimes you just can't get rid of the complainers. Hey to all the regular bloggers out there. I'm just saying hi so you don't see a complaint the first thing on the blog. Don, that's sad about Andy Williams. I will keep him & his family in my prayers. My mom is currently in the ICU. She had some sort of seizure yesterday that scared the daylights out of me. My dad is really upset since things don't look too good. My mom said that she can't walk so I don't know what's going on. Margie

A lesson in Geography would be good for whoever puts together the local weather reports on Fox News. Please inform him/her that California is on the west coast, not the east coast. For months you have been showing weather maps for the northeast instead of the west when doing a California report.

Lovely, sunny day in MySouth! After 3 rainy days, the sun is back. We actually got 4.9 inches of (very much needed & appreciated) rain in our gauge. Margie, hope these final treatments are soon over and done. My sister-in-law told me the other day that she had to have 45 radiation treatments. That was about 5 years ago and she is doing great since that time. Prayers that all will continue to go well with you. Y'all have a great day...catch ya later! Gwen :)

Don, that's great that you'll be a part of that annual meeting. Those big meetings can be very intimidating but many of them are very interesting. I hope it will be rewarding for you. And just think, you'll be helping doctors learn more about bladder cancer so they'll be better able to treat people. I hope you enjoy the experience. Margie

Hey everyone. Thanks for all your kinds words of support. I did get some news this morning that's a real downer. The radiation oncologist originally told me I'd get 33 treatments. I found out this morning that it will actually be 35. It's only 2 more but it's a real bummer. I'd been marking down the days on a calendar & now I have to recalculate. That stinks. On an upbeat note, I'm going to visit my parents this weekend. I haven't seen them for a while so it will be nice. Take care, all. Margie

Hey everyone! I'm enjoying the less humid weather, but I heard that the humidity is coming back this weekend--yuck! I've been feeling better this week with the lower temperatures/humidity. I had some good news from my radiation oncologist this morning. Although they're increasing the dose for the last 8 treatments, it will be more pinpointed. It's not a big increase so it will be offset by the smaller area they'll be doing. He said my skin looks good. That's all good news! Take care, all. Margie

Just opened the electric bill, It sure reflects the heat we had. Used 114 kWh more then last month and 108 more then the same period a year ago.

Hi, guys! Woke up around 3 AM to the sounds of raindrops fallin' on my roof. Lovely sound! It's dreary and drizzly in MySouth today. I'm loving it. Temps will be much cooler too. BG, I promise to honk my horn and wave to you every time I go through San Marcos. Good to hear that TX is getting some relief also. Margie, glad you're coming through your treatments so well.
