  • Cold front moves in...but watch out for storms!

    Hi everyone!

Hope you’re all doing well.  Happy Hump Day!  Weekend is almost here!

So we’ve got a cold front sweeping through that will knock out some of this heat we’ve been stuck with again this week:

However, some strong to severe storms are possible as the cooler drier air mixes in with some of this hot, humid unstable air:

I heard one of our local forecasters say the other day:  “The complaint box is full!”  I had to laugh, because no matter what, there’s always going to be someone who doesn’t like what the weather forecaster is saying!

If you’re up bright and early, I’ll be back on Fox and Friends First tomorrow and Friday at 5am!

    Have a great day everyone!

Well, I know I'm talking to myself sincce none of the regular bloggers seem to be around, but I'm posting something so I don't have to look at a complaint the first thing on the blog. I wish people would contact tech support with their problems and not here. Go away complainers!

I am in the pacifc southwest in the most populated state in the country, and I have my weather set for Cabazon, CA. However, when I look at the map, it only shows me the north eastern seaboard. Its been like for two weeks, do we not matter here on the west coast. Why can I not see the west coast weather map. I would like see what weather is here rather than east. Can this fixed ASAP

Hey regular bloggers, where are you? We've been outnumbered by spam and complaints here today. I hope everyone has a great weekend and hopefully we'll be spam-free & whiner-free over the weekend! Take care, everyone. Margie

Be nice if somebody thought that the midwest states and the west states really mattered. Only new is on the Eatern Front. Of course that is the only thing that matters to those ppeople anyway. Shows whwere FOX News is really at.

Don, I thought the same thing when I heard that kids were there. Of course, no one expects something like this to happen but kids do not belong at midnight showings of movies. They should be home safe in bed. Hey to everyone else out there. On a much lighter note, today is National Lollipop Day so find yourselves a good lollipop and enjoy! Have a great day, everyone. Good morning regular bloggers. I'm just posting something to cover up the spam from those ignorant people who really do need to get a life. We had some hefty thunderstorms yesterday & it looks like we'll be getting more today. I hope everyone has a great day! Margie

Good afternoon bloggers: Guess what? We had rain last night and into the nighttime hours. Wow! That's a first for a number of weeks. I'm sure the farmers are singing their praises around here. Expect more today and tonight. But the temps dropped about 20 degrees during the storms. What a pleasant relief. Hope all of you are experiencing better weather and enjoying whatever you have planned for today. Stay safe. Margie, our prayers go out for your mother. Hope she is doing better. Audrey

Hi, Guys! Another rainy one in MySouth. Probably got 3 more inches of rain overnight. Very unusual for July in MS. I won't fuss about it because the temps are so much cooler than normal. Margie, I do hope your Mom's health improves. Falling is so dangerous at her age. AJ, have fun today with Sammy. Frolicking on the beach sounds fantastic! Hope all of our other blogging family has a really great day! Catch y'all later! Gwen :)

Hey AJ! It sounds like Sammy is going to have a blast. Have fun! I just talked to my dad this evening. My mom had another episode of syncope in the nursing home today. She fell but thankfully didn't get hurt. It's not good that these episodes are getting closer and closer together. That means her heart is not pumping enough blood to the brain. With the nature of her heart disease, things are only going to get worse. I better be prepared for the inevitable. I hope you have fun tomorrow! Margie

Hey folks. I couldn't leave a thread with no comments on it! Just checking in to say hello. We had some storms move through dumping plenty of rain & providing lots of thunder & lightning. The nice thing is the temperature dropped 20 degrees--that's nice! It was stinking hot before the storms so I'm glad it's cooler now. Hopefully tomorrow won't be too bad. Take care, everyone! Margie
