The Politics of Medicine. Because I had the bladder cancer surgery at John Hopkins the Urologists here in Richmond will not treat my blocked kidneys. They even refused to order the Renal Nuclear test Hopkins wants. Hopkins is faxing the Rx to the hospital for the test.
Margie Gacki
Hey folks, I heard from Don a little while ago. He's home now. He signed himself out of the hospital because he wasn't happy with the care he was getting. He's going to see his own doctor tomorrow to get that nuclear test ordered. (It's a long story but that's the basics.) He may check in tomorrow on the blog but that's the important stuff. Margie

My prayers go out to Don also. I hope they can find the problem and fix it quickly. As BG said, it is hot and dry here. 102 right now at 5:00P.M. It is summer in Texas so no complaints. Who would ever complain on this blog anyway? Hope everyone's week is starting out well for them. Take care all, JB

Good afternoon everyone. Nothing much to talk about, but just because we a very close family, it concerns me when someone is having health issues. So my prayers go out to Don and Margies parents. Hope some cure can be found quickly. Margie, glad your treatment are over and that you too can continue to get better. Wish I could send everyone some cool weather, but here in Texas, It's hot and dry. Stay cool everybody.BG.
Margie Gacki
Hey folks, Don may post to the blog, but I just wanted to let you know that they ruled out his heart as the cause of him fainting. They'll be doing tests on his kidney to see if that's the problem. Margie

Hi bloggers: Wow! we had a storm this morning and received rain. Just what the farmers in the area needed as well as all the yards. I don't think J.D. perdicted this storm, but guess what? We check our local station for the weather, and don't always have to depend on the national map. Seems like someone in this blog needs to get a life. Hope all of you are doing well, including Margie's parents. Have a wonderful day all, and J.D. enjoy your time off with your loved ones. Audrey

S L Moore we can see you are busy since you keep commenting on this Blog. Just to let ya know we are family on the weather blog . If you watch Fox and have seen JD for a long time you know we are Family. Weather and life is on here and if you have a problem you can leave. No one is keeping ya here. Need your weather look up your local listings like most people in life do. Or listen to the radio. If you need to complain go to Fox home page and do so. Other wise please leave. Hope all are well! Hey everyone. I guess I'm in the minority in this group because I've been enjoying the Olympics. There are some great swimming races on now and the diving was on earlier. I've been enjoying it. The opening ceremony on the other hand, was dopey. I did like all the lighting effects & fireworks, though. Have a great evening/night, everyone! Margie

Hi Don and Margie and all the regular bloggers.LSam More I live in TEXAS and have no problem with the Fox weather map. If I need to see the weather in my area of Texas I look on the local weather Chanel. That is what any smart person would do that needs there area's information. I recommend you try it.You just might get all the information you need.So now to the family Just enjoying the 100 plus here in Texas. Dolores i agree the Olympics are not good this year. Hope all are well.no room left PJ

Hey Don, too funny! I think the heat in Texas is making some people a little cranky. Some people just don't get it. Sorry I missed your call. I went out to dinner with a friend. We went to the restaurant where the art gallery is. They make great wood fired pizza--yummy! Let's see what I can complain about--how about the fact I have no ice cream in my house to enjoy! Or maybe the fact that some people don't know how to spell Janice's name! Anyway, have a great evening everyone. Margie

My complaint. I made a lemon pepper sword fish steak for dinner in the oven. It stinks in here.

Hey Don, we just can't get rid of the whiners, can we? They seem to find us no matter what. Just when we got a new thread, we got another whiner. I just don't understand people. When I want local weather, I watch local news or go to WeatherBug or something like that. I don't know why people constantly complain about a national news organization not covering their local weather. Anyway, hey to all the other regular bloggers out there. Take care, everyone. Margie
DoninRichmond
Instead of complaining just go the the weather channel. Actually you sound like someone who would watch MSNBS
L Sam Moore
I don't 'twitter' Don't know how. Don't have time. Someone just tell me how to send an email to the 'weather people' so I can tell them to STOP STANDING IN FRONT OF SOUTH TEXAS ???? South of San Antonio my temp reading was 115. More to Texas than showing Dallas (when we can see it)!!!
Gwen
BTW...Dolores, I meant to make a comment about the Olympic opening. I watched but will admit that I found it a little weird and not particularly entertaining. I'll probably watch off and on throughout, but it's not "must see" TV for me. TTFN! :)
Gwen
Hi, guys! Glad to see that our JD is back. You have been missed. Also, Margie, I do hope and pray that all goes as well as possible with both your Mom and Dad. Aging parents is or has been an issue for many of us. It can be a very trying time and, in many cases, one child must step up and take the lead in their care. (I speak from experience.) Just follow your heart and know that many prayers are going up for you. Hot and humid in MySouth! Y'all take care! Gwen :)
