    HELLO ISAAC?

    Hi everyone!

    It’s going to be busy in the Fox News Extreme Weather Center as all eyes are on the tropics and a developing system that will eventually become Isaac.  There is a good chance Isaac might affect the U.S. in the days ahead.

    First, let’s talk about the “I” named storms which historically have been notoriously dangerous.  So much so that 7 of the “I” named storms have been retired since 2001:

    (This of course is not to say that Isaac will be a bad storm, it’s just an interesting footnote)

    Here’s the current path of Isaac, and of course many things are expected to change in the next few days.  The exact timing, strength and landfall locations are all subject to fluctuate.

    Here are the computer models that make up our “cone of uncertainty”:

    The one part of this story that makes it especially dramatic is the Republican National Convention is happening next week in Tampa, Florida.  Tampa is certainly in that “cone” and could definitley be impacted by rain and strong winds if this storm pays us a visit and stays on course.

    We’ll certainly keep an eye on things from here, and bring you the very latest!!

It seems to have quieted down a little bit now, later in the evening. I wonder why some people seem to enjoy stirring up unrest. Possibly, when some people are miserable, it is much easier to attempt to drag others down to your misery level than to pick yourself up and have a life. Truth Fairy, just get lost! We've been on this blog for years and we can talk about whatever we want and we don't need you here causing trouble. You really do need to get a life and find a more productive way to spend your time. If you're so interested in the truth, write to the politicians. Hey Don, your posts didn't show up before I posted my comments. At least the "Truth" Fairy will get the message. Some people just like running their mouths without having any idea what they're talking about. As Jesus said, they should remove the plank from their own eye before trying to remove the speck from someone else's eye. At least the regular bloggers know the truth about the "Truth" Fairy. Margie

If you're going to call yourself the Truth Fairy you better get your facts straight & stop criticizing people who do know what they're talking about. And you're one to talk about staying on topic!
