Hey folks, just posting something before I go to bed so you don't see the spam the first thing. I hope everyone is safe wherever you are. I hope all the regular bloggers have a great Thursday! Margie

I probably am one of the most loyal viewers of FOX NEWS in Texas, but I have a question. Why is it that the on scene reporters have to stand out in the rain, wind, debris, etc. to report on the hurricane? Couldn't the report be given under a shelter, through a door or window, rather risking injury or even death to show us there is a driving rain and wind. Please keep up the great job FOX always does. We love y'all.

Hi to all bloggers.Having a very quite week.Watching some of the Convention,Loved Ann Romney's speech.I do not want to sound like I have no commpassion for the people in Isaac's way,I wish this stormwould blow it self out.We have been hearing about it for weeks. Not much can be done to stop it and hope people took care to take cover or leave the area.I have lit candles in chapel for people's safty.Ok might get some of the rain, later in the week. That would be a blessing, take careand be safe.

All the Fox on site Isaac reporters are doing a great job, Steve Harrigan cracked me up. Last week he was getting bombed in Syria and today he was standing in four foot deep water. I think Steve likes living on the edge.

Mornin' guys! Cloudy, blustery day here...but nothing at all like what the Gulf Coast is feeling. My niece and her family are in Slidell, LA. They're catching it pretty rough and may be doing so for a while. Flooding at far back from the storm eye as Pensacola, FL. Southern counties of MS and AL also getting hit hard. Hope it moves on inland and maybe brings much-needed rain to the Midwest. Y'all have a good (and safe) day! Gwen :)

Good morning, everyone. I'm just posting something so you don't see the spam the first thing on the blog. I hope everyone's day is off to a good start. I just checked some New Orleans WeatherBug stations and some places have gotten over 5" of rain so far today on top of what they got yesterday. The high wind gust I saw was 80 mph. I'm sure that's not a fun place to be right now. I hope everyone has a good, safe day wherever you are. Take care, everyone. Margie

Hey to all the regular bloggers out there. If you want to keep track of Hurricane Isaac and other tropical storms and such, there's a great site that has the projected track, satellite images, wind speed, storm log and more. Intellicast also has some great local weather information, too. Here's the link to the tropical weather page: http://www.intellicast.com/Storm/Hurricane/Track.aspx (make sure you copy the whole link if it wraps to 2 lines). Now if we could only get rid of the hot air on the blog! Margie

Truth Fairy, just go away! All you do is criticize people and we don't want or need that on this blog. You wouldn't know the truth if it hit you in the face. Go find a more productive use for your life. Margie

Gil, that's an ignorant attitude to have. People who do stupid things need to be educated on the dangers and consequences of their behavior. You wouldn't find it entertaining if it was someone you loved. Sometimes people pay for their stupidity with their lives but no one should take pleasure in watching that. Anyone who does is pretty ignorant, too. Margie
Gil Gaudia
I love it when stupid people go out and play in the storms, because sometimes it's entertaining to watch, and then if they don't make it oh well, we'll culled the weak links from our genetic pool. It's 70 and clear right now, about 6:30 p.m. in Berlin. Good stuff.

Gwen, I wondered what all those letters where next to your name! I'm glad you explained that. I don't know how to pronounce it but at least I know what it means! Be careful down there and know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you don't get anything too severe. Take care! Margie
Gwen (in TLMBNOAM)
Yep, that's where I am. Also commonly called "Mississippi" around here. Old Indian word meaning "father of waters", named after the great river that flows through our country. That has been the huge "funny" here for 2 days. We laughed at Shep's coverage last night, cause he so gets it. Rains have begun here, wind is gusty...but not bad. Some schools in south MS have closed until at least Thursday. Things may go downhill as the day goes on. We shall see. Catch y'all later! Gwen :)
Margie Gacki
Janice, thanks for all the hard work you do during hurricanes. You do a great job of keeping everyone informed, even if you get some ignorant people criticizing you for one thing or another. I hope we don't see any reports of stupid people out playing in the storm. That might be a lot to ask since it seems like every storm some moron is doing something stupid. During Katrina there were dopes with kids along Lake Pontchartrain as the waves crashed over the walls. I hope people use common sense this time around. Thanks again for all you do. Blessings, Margie

Thanks JD for all your serious work you are doing, saw you with Shep and am thankful Shep acknowledge Mississippi, hope you all and your loved ones who could be harmed from this will be safe, hope you all are doing good rest of our regular bloggers, funny about Rolex...the watch and watchdog..haha AJ
