Good morning everyone!  I’m in for Rick on Fox and Friends Weekend today.

Texas is getting slammed with heavy rain  that will spread across the Gulf Coast states this week.  The Northeast is cooler than average while much of the West is very warm.  Tropical Storm Nadine continues to swirl in the Atlantic.  I believe it’s the 18th day that Nadine has been with us – one of the longest lasting storms we’ve ever seen in recorded history!  The good news is Nadine will remain out in the open Atlantic over the next few days.

Can you believe we’re almost into the month of October??  Matthew can’t wait for Halloween.  I think we’re going to put up some decorations this weekend.  We’ve already got their costumes ready.  I’ll take a few pictures and post them in the next few weeks!  So fun.

In other important Fox news, you saw earlier this week we had a beautiful shower for Ainsley  Earhardt who is getting married very soon!   I told her I wanted to post a picture of her and her handsome husband to be Will Proctor on the blog, so she sent me this beautiful picture of both of them (Great choice for the weather blog with the sunset in back of them!)   Such a wonderful couple.  I can’t wait for them to “officially” start their life together!

Have a great weekend everyone!  Talk to you Monday!

  • Ainsley's Bridal Shower!

    Janice Dean | Meteorologist

    Hey everyone!

We had a fun day yesterday surprising beautiful Ainsley Earhardt with a Bridal Brunch at Sarabeth’s restaurant here in Manhattan.  Miss Earhardt will be marrying her handsome fiance Will Proctor in the next couple of weeks, so her girlfriends here at Fox decided to show her how excited we are for her by throwing her a little party!

Here’s a few of the pictures we took. You’ll recognize many of the “tv” faces but some of our behind the scenes beauties are here as well including our Senior Vice President of Programming & Development Suzanne Scott, Executive Producer Lauren Petterson, Senior Producers Megan Albano and Jennifer Rauchet,  and Associate Producer Lindsay Oliver.  Our amazing hair and makeup team of Theresa Burney, Lisa Mirante also joined us.

Special thanks to Suzanne Scott, Megan Albano, Heather Nauert, Patti Ann Browne and Heather Childers for putting this event together for our lovely Ainsley!  We are so happy for you.  She is as sweet and as gorgeous in person as she is on television. Will is a LUCKY MAN!  :)

    Hi everyone!

Hope you’re all having a great day.

The blog has been a little quiet lately mostly because the weather has been fairly calm.   The other reason is that the weather studio is going to be used during the elections, so there are some rehearsals happening in there over the next few weeks, and we’ve been moved to another location during the daytime hours.

So while things are quiet and the weather is pretty good, I’ll post a few open blogs.  I know we’re still getting spammed — and I’m doing my best to clean things up.  Thanks for always being patient and kind!

In the meantime, we took Matthew and Theodore to Central Park over the weekend and had a blast.  Thought I’d post a couple of pictures we took.  My boys are getting so big, arent’t they?  I do love the fall weather here in New York.  It’s such a magical time.    It’s one of my favorite places to be during this season.

    Have a great day everyone!

  • Look who I met this morning!

    Janice Dean | Meteorologist

One of the great things about working early mornings is getting to meet some of my favorite stars!  This is definitely one of them!  (And he’s just as nice in person as he is on TV!)   Plus we share a big love of chocolate chip COOOOOKIIIIIEEEES!

  • Last few days of Summer!

    Janice Dean | Meteorologist

    Good morning all

First off I know the spam monsters are back.  I will send an email to the spam police this morning and hopefully we can clean things up a bit.  Thanks for being patient.

Weather is pretty quiet (Thank Goodness) across the country, so I thought I would post a few pictures of my boys that my husband took earlier this week at the Queens Museum.  I think this will be the last time this year we see the outdoor water fountains functioning!

Hope you’re all doing well–thanks for staying with the blog despite all of the hiccups lately.
