  • Forecast in Charlotte, Hurricane Leslie and watching the GULF!

    Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend!  We stayed close to home.  My youngest was sick, so we kept things on the home front.  Thankfully Teddy is feeling a little better.  It’s always so scary when your kids have a fever or feel sick and they’re too young to be able to tell you what hurts the most.   Breaks my heart.

So, a lot of conversation today regarding weather affecting the President’s speech tomorrow evening outside.  There is a chance of showers/thunderstorms though the day, but the forecast improves as the day wears on.

I guess we’ll really never know if it was weather or the fact that they couldn’t fill the stadium.  To be honest, both Charlotte and Tampa are tough locations in terms of the possibility for severe/tropical weather in early September.

We are also watching Hurricane Leslie which right now is a MAJOR threat to Bermuda over the weekend:

The track brings a strong Cat 2 (possible Cat 3) right on top of the Island on Sunday.  Very dangerous.  It will also bring high surf/rip current threat all along the East Coast

And a little piece of what was Isaac is starting to flare up in the Gulf of Mexico (it’s not enough of Isaac to be called “Isaac” though if it regenerates.  It will more than likely be named Nadine.)  We could see a tropical depression or a storm in the next few days as it drifts east along the Gulf possible affecting the eastern Gulf states or Florida:

So that’s a little weather round-up for you!  I’ll be up bright and early for Fox and Friends First if you’re around your TV set at 5am!  I appreciate the company! :)

    Talk to you soon everyone!

    JD

An awesome post, I just passed this onto a fellow worker who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me lunch because I found it for him smile.. So let me reword that: Thanks for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is extremely helpful for me. Big thumb up for this post! Wedding Party Dresses

Hi Margie: Hope you're feeling better. Lots of nasty stuff going around and it is not even winter yet. Have you tried Mucinex DM. When we get a cold, etc. here, that seems to help immensely. Our doctor son has told us to use it in the past. Hope you sleep better tonight! Audrey

Hi Janice: Sorry for the delay in writing the last couple of weeks. My husband John spent two weeks in the hospital with pneumonia and of course got weak so had some therapy before returning home. He is doing much better and continues his therapy at home. Happy little Teddy is doing better J.D. Theodore was my father's name, and is also my only brother's name How sweet. Weather today is beautiful, and we're enjoying it. How blessed we are. Have a nice day all. Audrey

Hi folks. It's going to be another hot, humid day in Cumberland. We got up into the low 90's yesterday & it's supposed to be the same today. I stayed home from work again today. I'm not quite as congested as I was yesterday but I did not sleep well at all. One of these days I'll feel better. I hope everyone has a great day today. The week is almost over. Take care, everyone. Margie

Hi, JD. Sorry little Teddy's been under the weather...sorry, bad pun not intended. I'm glad he's feeling better. It always hurts Mama (and grandmama, too) when their babies don't feel well. OK, we've really had enough of Isaac. (I told y'all he was gonna be bad!) Now he wants to transform himself as Nadine and come back around. That is just so wrong! Hope all our bloggers are having a good day. Mine has been busy but overall good. Catch y'all later! Gwen :)

Janice, I'm sorry Teddy's been sick. I'm glad he's feeling better and I hope he continues to improve. I'll keep the little guy in my prayers. That must be hard watching your little one suffer and not be able to explain what hurts. Take care, Margie
