Good morning everyone!  I’m in for Rick on Fox and Friends Weekend today.

Texas is getting slammed with heavy rain  that will spread across the Gulf Coast states this week.  The Northeast is cooler than average while much of the West is very warm.  Tropical Storm Nadine continues to swirl in the Atlantic.  I believe it’s the 18th day that Nadine has been with us – one of the longest lasting storms we’ve ever seen in recorded history!  The good news is Nadine will remain out in the open Atlantic over the next few days.

Can you believe we’re almost into the month of October??  Matthew can’t wait for Halloween.  I think we’re going to put up some decorations this weekend.  We’ve already got their costumes ready.  I’ll take a few pictures and post them in the next few weeks!  So fun.

In other important Fox news, you saw earlier this week we had a beautiful shower for Ainsley  Earhardt who is getting married very soon!   I told her I wanted to post a picture of her and her handsome husband to be Will Proctor on the blog, so she sent me this beautiful picture of both of them (Great choice for the weather blog with the sunset in back of them!)   Such a wonderful couple.  I can’t wait for them to “officially” start their life together!

Have a great weekend everyone!  Talk to you Monday!

Mornin' guys! Much cooler this morning in MySouth. Should be 75 today. I like that! Margie, that chocolate volcano cake sounds divine. Then again, anything that begins with "chocolate" sounds divine! AJ, have fun on the road trip. Thanks to all for the prayers for our son and family. Hardest part was watching him say "Goodbye" to his kids. Their tears broke Mamaw's heart. It's hard for me and I understand why he has to go. They just know they miss their Dad. Hug those you love today!

Hey Everyone! I had a busy, but fun weekend. My family got together at a nice restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The meal was great but the best part was the chocolate volcano cake! My sister-in-law mentioned it was my b-day celebration so when the server brought out the dessert, she had whipped cream & a candle on it--how sweet! It was a nice time. Gwen, I'm sorry your son had to leave for a while. I will be keeping him & all of you in my prayers. Take care, everyone. Margie

Hi Janice, I just finished reading the book Firehouse by David Halberstam By the time I got to the end of the book, I felt that they are truly a family. The closeness they had and the way they help each other outside the firehouse was amazing Through out the book I laughed and cried. As far as I'm concern ed the firemen are right up there with our service men and women They are all HEROES in my book. Thank you for bringing this book to my attention.

Hi all: Hope you had a nice week-end. The weather here was gorgeous. Got my 93 year old husband out to church and then to dinner at a restaurant. He did fine as well as I did. Weather today is a little gloomy but tolerable. It's Fall and the leaves are simply lovely. J.D., thanks for the pic of Will and Ainsley. My best to them as they soon "travel down life's pathway together." Anxious to see the pictures of your boys, J.D. with their costumes. What fun. Have a nice afternoon everyone. Audrey

Lovely picture of the bride and groom. I must have missed something...I thought she was already married. PJ, sorry your Jets didn't do so well yesterday. My Giants lost, but the Broncos won. Margie, I see that your Redskins won, too. Kind of a down day for me. Our military son just left for several months, so we're all a bit sad today. At least the weather (gray/dreary/drizzly) fits my mood. Hope y'all have a good day. :|
