    SEVERE WEATHER THIS WEEKEND

    Good Friday morning everyone!

    Right to the big weather news:   Severe storms will be the story this weekend as an area of low pressure pushes across the southwest and into the central plains today and tomorrow.  From west Texas up into Oklahoma and Kansas the risk for hail, winds and tornadoes will ramp up this afternoon and overnight:

    Tomorrow the risk gets greater, and affects a huge part of the Central U.S:

    Millions of people could be affected by this possible outbreak, and there are many college football games scheduled, so this could cause some big headaches for outdoor events.

    Meanwhile, in cyber news, I received this amazing picture from one of my twitter friends,  Ken Griffin.  It’s Lunenburg Harbor, Nova Scotia.  Beautiful.  If you ever get the chance to visit eastern Canada – the maritime provinces, please do.  It’s a slice of heaven!

Hey folks, I figured I better post something tonight since we can only post for 3 days and that runs out tomorrow morning. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a wonderful trip but it's nice to be home. I put over 750 miles on my car over the last 4 days. That's a lot! Have a great week ahead, everyone! Margie

Went out to the car at 6:30 this morning to go to the dog park. There was a very heavy dew all over the car. As I went to sit down I realized even the leather seats were covered with dew. (leaning from Obama and Biden) Found that Rolex left the sun roof open since yesterday afternoon.

Don, I like that slogan! It was 27 where I was this morning. That was cold! It's 53 now at my parents' place. It's a beautiful sunny day but still windy. (The third day of windy weather.) I drove through the Michaux State Forest & Caledonia State Park on the way to my parents' place. What a beautiful part of Pennsylvania. There's still a lot of green, but some areas had color & I got some great pictures. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Margie

Winter rains are here on the WA coast. they are the nice steady area soaking kind that do some good. Let us all hope the lowland rains translate into mountain snowfal which builds the snow pack for next summer's irrigation and power use. As soon as the fresh water flow hits the rivers, the salmon will make a mad dash upstream to spawn. Right now most are holding in tidewater just waiting.

Afternoon, all! Warm here today...high in the mid 80s, but dropping back into the low 70s in the next few days. JD, I sure hope that severe weather isn't too severe. Loved one in OKC. Hubby was in Nova Scotia with the military a couple of years ago...said it was lovely! Beautiful picture! Y'all have a good weekend. I'll be packing for my trip next week. :)

Hi to all.We are getting some rain here in OK.Warm temps and hunid,Thought we were done with the warm temps.Hoping cooler temps are coming.I turned off the debate after the first 30 mins,last night,when Biden seemed to think that Americans being murdered was funny,and people who are really hurting seemed to tickle him too.Paul Ryan was a gentleman and respectful,too bad there couldn't have been another adult to debate with.Sorry,just had to mention it.Hope all are well and say safe.Dolores

Nova Scotia is beautiful. Ten years ago I went on a senile citizen cruise from NY to there. Had a great time.
