    Good morning all!

Up and early for my Thursday shift on Fox and Friends First!  I’m off tomorrow through Wednesday for a quick trip to Canada.  I’ll try to post an open blog over the weekend, but it may have to come on Tuesday when I get back.   I’ll take some pictures as well of some of the fall foliage!  Speaking of which, some more great shots from you on Twitter (janicedeanfox@twitter)

This one is from Margie of Michaux State Forest in Cumberland Country, PA:

And Randy Uzick took this picture on his way to work.  I don’t know where this is from though!  I will try to find out…It’s beautiful though, isn’t it?

In weather news,  a storm system pushing across the Great Lakes will bring with it some wet and windy weather with gusts in excess of 50 mph across the Plains.

Meanwhile, the trailing cold front will trigger showers and thunderstorms into the eastern third of the country.  Some of these storms could turn severe with large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes over parts of the Midatlantic up into the Northeast late in the day.

Much of the west will be dry with warmer than average temperatures for the southwest.

That’s it for now.  Have a great weekend everyone!

I ride my bike to work 3 days a week and took the picture of the sunrise about 7:15 am on the hike and bike trail here in Houston. Just snapped a couple pictures with my iPhone.

Hey everyone. I hope all my blogging friends are having a great weekend so far. Even though it was cloudy today, I took a drive and got some great fall foliage pictures around Allegany County. What a beautiful area I live in! It was cold and windy this morning but the colors were beautiful. My friend Brent went with me because I went to some remote areas and I don't like doing that by myself. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend! Margie

Audrey, It was early this morning when I posted my last comment and I forgot to say that I hope you enjoyed the concert yesterday. I'm sure you're very proud of Caleb. Let us know how the concert was. Take care, Margie

Good morning to all the regular bloggers out there. I hope everyone has a great day today. We got some rain last night--a little over 1/4". There was one flash of lightning & one clap of thunder and that was it. We need the rain so I'm glad we got some. Take care, everyone. Margie

So much for the blog not posting comments with links. I hope this doesn't start a new trend. Hey to all the regular bloggers out there. I hope everyone is having a great day. It started out sunny but the clouds are moving in. It is a nice 65 though. We have a chance of rain/thunderstorms this afternoon. I hope everyone has a great afternoon! Margie

Have a wonderful trip J.D. The colors will no doubt be beautiful for you to enjoy. Such a pretty time of the year. Weather today is cloudy, cool, and more rain expected. That will really bring down the leaves from our oak trees. Yikes, we have already had "four pick ups" of the leaves this season, and lots more to come. Have a nice week-end all. Audrey
