Hi All... yep what a sad day for our country. And PJ... your husband is so right. America got real stupid. I watched Imus this morning on Fox Bix, as I was not in the mood for much anything else. And it was said, ' it proves, that some Americans want to ride in the wagon instead of pulling it'.. that sums it up. Get ready... we will be Greece II... what a shame, I am still numb so many Americans could make such a poor choice....

Hi blogger friends: Wish I could say this was a good morning, but I feel rather depressed. Of course, you know why. I think God gave us just what we had coming and deserve so that we might trust His ways and look to Him more for our everyday lives. Afer all, He is in control of this world. What do you think? Blessings on all of us as we get out from under our depression! :) There is a brighter day coming. Just try to live above the "circumstances." Audrey

Hi all. Sad day in the USA. My husband just keep saying last night " People are just to stupid to vote" He said there needs to be a test to vote. I kinda agree. Hope all are well and safe , and not to said. As Margie said Jesus is in control. Safe say all on the East Cost. PJ

My dear blogging friends, don't lose hope. I just had these words of Jesus come to mind: "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” So, don't forget, God wins in the end! Margie

Hey Don, it's pretty sad, isn't it? We live in a great country with many freedoms. Unfortunately, one of those freedoms is the freedom to be stupid. Gwen, I know how you feel. It's a pretty scary time. I was just listening to a song called "God is in Control" because I needed to remind myself that as gloomy as things are, God will take care of us. We can have hope through Him no matter what happens. Let's keep that thought in mind. Take care, all. Margie

Hello, all. Not a "good" morning as far as I'm concerned. I feel like there's been a death in the family. Never have felt such a sense of despair for my country. Sorry...I'm not my usual chipper self today. Let's all pray for strength to survive. As a co-worker just said to me, "We're in a real mess." Amen, brother. Gwen :(

Hey folks. I'm just stopping by to post something so you don't see the spam the first thing on the blog. It's kind of dreary outside, which is pretty much the same as my mood. It was not a good day yesterday. But I do know that God is in control and one day we will all answer to Him. I sure hope that nor'easter doesn't cause too many more problems for those poor folks along the east coast. They don't need any more problems. Have a great day, everyone!

Hey folks. It's been quiet on the blog today. Don, I'm glad they took the snow out of the forecast. We don't have anything to worry about either. It was cold this morning--around 25--brrrrrr! I had to scrape my windshield this morning & that wasn't fun. I hope everyone has a good evening and I hope we have some good election news before the night is over. Take care, everyone. Margie

Snow has been removed from our forecast tomorrow. Never missed voting in either the general or primary elections since 1964. I have never seen lines as long as they are this morning to vote.

JD, so happy you and your family are doing a lot better, how we take water and electricity for granted, so happy yours has been restored and hope it stays on during the coming storm, those poor folks must feel like weather's punching bag, the stories have been so sad..and God Bless us all tomorrow and the outcome. AJ

Hey Janice... so happy you have seen the LIGHT! ha ha.. sorry could not resist. And heard Megyn and family (can her husband and son get any cutier in the bleachers on America Live!!) have the power back on! We are only expected to get rain here in the NC Blue Ridge from this front! Heading back to Colorado soon to visit sweet dad. He sure is missing his wife of 62 years, and I am missing my mom every day! Hello to fellow bloggers AJ, Gwen and Margie and Don!
Gwen
JD, great news that the power is back on at your house! That's the first step back to normal...now hoping that the next steps fall in line quickly. We did pray for you at church. Lots of folks are lifting you in prayer...we do empathize w/your situation. Take care in this upcoming storm. Looks like lots of early snow in the Northeast. Y'all bundle up and stay warm! Chilly/rainy today in MySouth, but tomorrow should be a stellar day for an election. I plan to vote early! Gwen :)

Oh Don, I hope you don't get snow. People down there don't know how to drive in snow! I hope we don't get any out here. There are still around 5000 customers in Garrett County without power and as of yesterday, 95% of the roads were cleared off from all the mess Sandy made. I think 30 inches of snow is enough for them for a while. This weather is just too crazy. Take care, everyone! Margie

WRVA, Fox radio this morning said Wednesday we could get 4 to 8 inches of snow. Tell me it's not so.

Hi Janice: I prayed this week-end for you hoping your electric went on so you could stay warm, and you did get it. I am happy for you, and pray that others will get electricity so they can begin to get their lives back together. We take these things for granted that when something does happen, we are completely lost. God bless you and your little family, and we pray everything will be all right as you wait for another storm to "settle in" over some of the same regions. Have a good day. Audrey
