I hope and pray that those who need help due to the storms will receive it soon. I can't believe they had the FEMA control center closed due to weather. Are you kidding me!!!If it wasn't so sad and people needing help so badly, the irony would be humerous. I would think the officials and politicians would be better off making sure those that get help need it and worry less about photo ops and P.R. I guess that is asking too much. Hope all have a great weekend. JB

Well, so much for the blog blocking spam containing links. Anyway, hello to the regular bloggers. I hope everyone is having a good day. We had a beautiful sunny day here. We haven't had many of those lately so it was nice. Take care, everyone. Margie

What is UP with this CRAZY weather these past few years. I have 7" of snow on my deck. And I am fortunate. Most of us in CT have power (i never lost mine due to Sandy). BUT BOY. Weather is HAMMERING us in the North East these past 2-3 years. !!!!

Saw JD's twitter post last night that power lines had snapped and she was officially without power again. Thoughts and prayers to all who are affected by these storms. Local company announced yesterday that it was closing it doors. 109 people now out of work. Don't mean to be a pessimist, but things aren't looking too good. I'm going to make every attempt today to get back to my positive self, cause (like Margie said) God is still in control. Thank you, Jesus, for my many blessings! :)

I've been praying for everyone along the east coast. What a mess! I hope everyone can stay warm somehow. Margie

I feel so sorry for those in the northeast

Sounds a lot like Katrina/Rita of 2005; 2 major storms in the span of a couple weeks.
