Hey folks, I figured I'd post one more thing before this thread expires. AJ, yesterday and today so far have been accident-free. Hopefully things will stay that way! I've been running some errands for my parents the last couple days. My mom isn't doing the greatest. She's just so weak & can't do much for herself. I've been helping her get dressed the past few days. I came up with an idea that helped perk her up. She's upset that she can't do anything for herself but I came up with a project for both my parents. They like sending birthday & other cards to the folks at the retirement community where they live. I’m going to design some cards for them that they can just print out & sign & mail. That way, my dad won’t have to make them himself. He can just print them out. My mom liked that idea so I’m going to work on some card designs for them. I certainly have plenty of pictures to choose from! Have a great day, everyone! Margie

We're do all these crazy spammers come from?? I do hope all the regular bloggers are having a great day. Gwen, I think electrocution by coffee would be a rather unique way to go--but I don't think I'd want to try it! I'm glad it didn't happen to you! I didn't mention the other crazy things that happened yesterday. I knocked over an empty tea kettle but it hit an open carton of chicken stock & a bottle of Worcestershire sauce that fell onto the floor. It looked like a Worcestershire sauce massacre! Then I knocked a pitcher of iced tea out of the refrigerator that got all over the floor. And I hardly ever spill anything! What a day! Take care, all. Margie

Happy day after Thanksgiving to all my blogging friends. We had a busy, but very good day yesterday. Margie, be careful around small appliances. I did something similar the other day when I dropped my hair spray bottle into my coffee cup and splattered coffee all over the hair dryer. YIKES! Electrocution by coffee! How strange! PJ, I watched that game last night. Jets fans may have to borrow the brown paper sacks the Saints fans used to wear. Don, you make me laugh! TTFN! Gwen :)

Good morning everyone. I see the spam keeps coming on this thread. People really do need to get a life. I thought Janice said that posts with links would be blocked. I see that's not working. I just want to wish all the regular bloggers a good day. I'll be busy helping my parents with some projects and things. It's a beautiful sunny day here. I hope my blogging friends have a great day! Margie

Hope all are having a great day. Margie what a way to start your day. As long as all are safe, Watching football and I am not happy. I think my team is confused as to what time they are on. Hope all are well and safe and that the spam takes the rest of the day off. PJ

Hey folks, I'm just saying hello so you don't see the spam the first thing on the blog. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I started the day off by starting a fire in my parents' toaster oven. I was taking out a piece of toast with tongs & it slipped out & fell right through the wires on the rack onto the hot heating element. It didn't take long for the flames to start. What a way to start the day! I hope the rest of you had a quieter day! Take care, everyone. Margie

Happy Thanksgiving to all my blogging friends! I hope everyone has a special time with their families. Janice, I love the picture of the boys. You have a beautiful family & I thank you for sharing them with us. We have a great group of bloggers here so hopefully the trouble makers will stay away. Hey BG, I couldn't even watch that Navy game on Saturday. I didn't realize it was on a channel that my cable co. doesn't carry--bummer! I kept track of the score online, though. Take care, all! Margie

Happy Thanksgiving Jancis. I have enjoyed your reports ever since you started on FOX. To read recently about your MS, caused me to pause once more and realize what truly is important. The love of family, friends, and the beauty of life in our children. May you and your husband and boys enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving.

Good afternoon again. Margie, I waved at you last Friday. From what I could see, Cumberland seems to be in a little valley surrounded by mountains and beautiful trees. If you tried to find me in the stands, I was the only one without a jacket. I was hoping for colder weather, but it still felt comfortable. Only dropped to 38 Sunday morning. Navy has a good team and happy they win many more. Our own Texas State Strutters will be performing in the Macy's Parade. Be sure and watch for them. BG.

Happy Thanks Giving to all on the blog and JD and family. I am thankful for the troops that give me my freedom, my husband of 20 years and family. I am also thankful for JD giving us a family friendly place to chat. Hope all are well and safe and enjoy this day of thanks. PJ
Gwen
Happy Thanksgiving, JD, to you and yours. I have so much to be thankful for, but I'd have to start with my sweet husband of 37 years and my partner for almost 40. He's a keeper! Thankful for sons who have turned into good and strong young men. Thankful for my health, my job and for joy. I'm truly thankful for my 5 grandchildren. They are special in a way that's impossible to understand until you experience it. Thankful also for friends near and far. I feel very blessed by God. Gwen :)

I'm thankful for my husband. Without him, life would be pretty empty. Our children and grandchildren who bring such love into our lives. A country where freedom reigns. Friends and family members who are always there for you. Good health inspite of our senior citizen days. And, a God who loves us and cares for us on a daily basis. How grateful we are for such blessings. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone. Audrey

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Janice. Even though the weather may be bad outside, your smile and light warms us all. Not many come across as genuine and sincere on television the way you do. Not many respond to us on Twitter like you do as well. It's what sets you apart from the rest. We appreciate that in you. Love to you and yours. God bless you.
