    Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  Ours was fun.  We went to a family resort in the Poconos where the kids played all weekend in the pool/outdoors and the meals were prepared!  (Good news for me, because I don’t cook very well!)  I’ll post some pics later this week.  In the meantime, we’re watching a storm system that could bring a little bit of snow across the Northeast tomorrow.  Not big accumulations – just enough to make the afternoon commute a little messy…there’s a chance for some afternoon/evening  storms over the Ark-la-tex, and the West will get pounded again with a storm mid-week.

    Talk to you all soon!

I see the spammers were busy overnight. Hey to all the regular bloggers out there! JB, I'm on a roll now. I've gone 4 days in a row without setting fire to anything! I'll see if I can extend that streak today. I hope everyone has a great day today. Take care, everyone! Margie

I hope all recovered from Black Friday, Thanksgiving feasts and cyber Monday. I didn't do much, but that also means a quicker recovery time. Audrey, I hope the pinched nerve and subsequent pain subsides quickly. They are no fun and can be quite miserable. Margie, congratulations on not setting any small appliances on fire for a few days!(j/k) Warm today here(80), but a little cooler tomorrow. Take care all, JB

Afternoon all! Been a cloudy, misty day in MySouth. Chilly for the last day or so, but should be a little warmer this week after the clouds clear out. We may go back camping one more time before the end of the year. It's been tough getting back into my routine today. Holidays tend to do that. Glad you had a good time, JD. Hubby did the turkey and the ham; I did everything else that went along with that. Got lots of compliments, so it must have been okay. Catch y'all later! Gwen :)

Hi all: Thanksgiving was a great time. Lots of fellowship and food. Have had a pinched nerve in my lower back and the pain goes down into the leg area for over six weeks now. Had my first MRI, cortisone shot, and therapy. So far, not much difference. Have signed up for another round of therapy to see if it might help. Pray I get some relief. I need my back to be my husband's caregiver. Weather today gloomy, cold, but no snow or rain. Have a nice evening all. Audrey

Sounds like you had a nice time. The first time I went water skiing was on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos. Before I bought a summer house on the Jersey shore I considered the Poconos.
