Just stopped by to say "Hi"! Going to do some Christmas shopping this weekend and in the coming week. I really miss all the white Christmases I knew in Chicago. L.A. isn't the same!

THANK YOU for doing your report on Multiple Sclerosis. My husband had Open Heart Surgery in August and now the doctors think he "may" have multiple sclerosis. I need to know how you found yours ? Did you have a lumbar puncture test done, OR was your condition found with a Brain MRI ?? He's had the Brain MRI done and nothing showed there. Its GOOD to know that people CAN function with this illness. You have given us much encouragement. We enjoy all your broadcasts. Phyllis Heaney

Janice, thanks for keeping this blog going. Hope you get everything ready for Christmas. I know your little boys will get a thrill helping your getting the tree ready. Don, those are interesting German customs. Wonder how ours got started? Margie, Have not heard from you in a day or two. Hope and pray that your mother is doing better. Hope everyone else is having a good day. 61 and up to 75 and clear.BG,

Speaking of Christmas, yesterday, St Barbara's Day, is the start of the Christmas season in Germany. Children put a shoe outside and St Barbara fills it with candy. Tomorrow is St Nick's day. Tomorrow in Germany is when the kids get the stockings. My parents were from Germany and that's how we celebrated the season. Santa put up the tree on Christmas Eve night.
