Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I came home yesterday afternoon and will be here a couple days before heading to Hopkins. It was decided I need to see a different doctor than was I was originally suppose to. "they have to fit me into his schedule. Please continue to keep me in your prayers. I have a "large blockage" in my urator. Never been so scared in my life as I am now.

This old house sure gets quiet when all the kids and grandkids go home after the holidays!!! I spent the day today puttering, cleaning on the patio (closed in), and catching up on news. My wife did her annual day after Christmas trip to buy Christmas cards for next year. Came home with 425! Her church guild takes personalized cards to every person in the nursing homes and rehab centers in the 4 towns in this area. A good project and is often the only card a person recieves. $13!!! :) Sam

Hey folks. I just wanted to post one more thing before this thread expires in the morning. We wound up with all kinds of precip. today--snow, sleet, freezing rain. It's above freezing now so that's good. I'm supposed to get together with my friend Stacy in the morning but I'll have to get up early to shovel out my car. I cleared it off but the plow dumped all kinds of crud at the end of the driveway. I'm hoping the maintenance staff will come around during the night to clear it off so I won’t have to. They were clearing driveways at 12:30 a.m. on Christmas Day so maybe they’ll do the same thing this time. Take care, everyone! Margie

Greetings all from snowy south central PA. It's coming down hard & it's windy out. My plans for today got snowed out but I'll survive. It looks like we have close to 2" already and we could get up to 6". They're also calling for sleet & freezing rain but hopefully it will stay just snow. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I had a nice quiet day with my parents. I cooked for them last night: London broil, white cheddar mashed potatoes, & roasted tomatoes--yummy! Take care, all! Margie

Hey Sam! I'm glad you're a part of our blogging family. It is a great place to visit. I'm so grateful that Janice doesn't allow bad behavior on her blog. I've stopped reading some that got too nasty. We have a great bunch on this blog. Hey AJ, I'll e-mail you some snow photos a little later. I just went out to take a couple nighttime photos. It looks pretty. Have a great Christmas, everyone! Janice, what a beautiful family photo! Thanks for sharing. I wish you & all those special guys in your life a very merry Christmas! Hey to all the bloggers out there! I got home just in time. I took my friend Stacy out shopping today & after I dropped her off at home, the snow started. It's coming down hard & I got home just before it started to lay on the roads. There's about 1/2 inch on the ground right now. I'm glad I'm safe at my parents' place. Merry Christmas to my blogging family! Margie
