FOX News Weather Blog

    Hi everyone.

Hope you’re all ok after a pretty intense couple of days weather/wise.  Tornadoes and a snowstorm over Christmas.  Yikes.  I’m back in the office Monday.   Be safe, and we’ll talk next week!

Hey folks, I just thought I'd post one more thing before this thread expires. It's been really windy around here the past couple days with high wind gusts around the 30 mph mark. I hope everyone has a great day! Happy New Year to my blogging family! Margie

Hey folks, I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. We got more snow today. It was only a few inches but it just added to the 6+ inches we got the other day. I think we've gotten more snow this month than we did all of last winter--at least it seems that way! I see we have another complainer on the blog. I guess some people don't have anything better to do with their lives. I hope all the regular bloggers have a great weekend! Take care, everyone. Margie

Hi all: Hope you had a nice Christmas. We did. About 70 plus Terpstra gang had a school gym and kitchen for several hours to celebrate in. With 32 of that number being little great grandchildren, you can see that we had "lots of noise", but fun as well. They are so precious. Hope all of you have a wonderful New Year and are blessed with good health as well. Audrey

It is snowing, but no one would ever know for you do not discuss or show the northwestern weather. I know you live in the east, but you should at least show the weather of the west. I just hate the way you stand infront of our weather when you discuss the eastern weather. Or how about the fuzzy map so that we cannot see the weather in our area. Like all of the other headline news stations, you do not care about the weather effecting the western States until it comes your way.

Hurricane Sandy hit NY. It hit the NY area with high winds and at the NE corner of the storm(the worst),and get this,NO rain! This allowed the winds to rip off wires and cause sparks that burned down over 100 houses in the Rockaways, and ,of course, flood everyones homes with storm surge. Anyone in that North East corridor of a hurricane should be on-guard,even if it is only a Cat-1.Lesson learned!

Hi folks. I'm just posting something so you don't see the spam the first thing on the blog. What a meaningless existence to waste time spamming. Anyway, I hope the regular bloggers are having a great day. We have more winter weather moving in tonight. Just when my street started to melt a little, we're getting more crud. A UPS truck slid on the ice and got stuck in my street for over half an hour. On a street that's just wide enough for 1 car, that messed things up a little. Take care, Margie

I just wanted to say Happy new Year to all. Just in case we don't get another blog going before then. May all have a better year then last. Will continue praying for Don and all that are in need of them. PJ

Hi all. Question for Janice: The last day or so Kotzebue AK (30 mi. N of Arctic Circle) has warmed up to +21 degrees from -16. Just wondering if has an effect on our weather down in the lower 48. otherwise, cloudy, overcast, 38 degrees and no rain or snow here today on the WA coast.

Hey to all the regular bloggers out there. You never know what you're going to get when you post an open blog. I hope everyone is having a great week. Don, you've been in my thoughts & prayers. This weather has been crazy. I got back to Cumberland yesterday. We got a little more snow out here than we did at my parents' place. It looks like about 6" with some nice crusty ice on top. My street is nice & icy but my next door neighbor cleared out my parking space for me--yay! Take care, all. Margie

Hi, I am not a violent person but I often wonder if every member of congress with the president in front were put in front of a firing squad and shot one at a time if the message that our country is broken would maybe then get through ??? what will it take ??

Hi everyone! I have not had electricity since 3:30 pm Christmas day. I got a call and was told that there many Entergy trucks staged at Barton Coliseum and Target West. How can this info be investigated? I am really tired of staying in a hotel.

Rolex is not with me. There is no way I could take care of her now. The best Christmas present I got was my daughter brought her to the hospital and the nurse brought me outside for 10 minutes to see her. My nurse called my daughter and suggested it. Hopkins contacted me three times today. Ordered more tests to have here and then I'll go there. For a hospital that between staff and patients average 78,000 to 90,000 people a day they schedule almost down to the minute when to arrive.

Hi guys! Cold in MySouth...but lovely sunshine and no snow here. I'd actually like to see a little snow...but just a little. Don, will continue to pray for you and all who surround you in this health crisis. Good to hear that you were able to come home for a few days and spend some time with Rolex. This is my BUSY time of year. Final payrolls, year end balancing and reports prior to closeout. Yuck! I need a vacation. Catch y'all later! Gwen :)
