    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    Hello everyone!

    Hope your New Years Eve is going well so far!  I’m here until 4pm, and then I’ve got to be up at 3am for Fox and Friends First, so as much as I would love to see the Ball Drop with Bill and Megyn, I don’t think this weather lady is going to be up past 8pm!

    As for the Forecast tonight, we do have a storm system across the plains that’s going to bring a few inches of snow across the Central U.S through the Ohio valley.  South of that snow line, we could see a mix of freezing rain/sleet, and then along the Southern Plains, Lower Mississippi Valley it will be mainly rain.

    Temperatures are pretty cold though for many tonight – especially over the Northern Plains:

    And for tonight’s Ball Drop at Times Square for my good friends Megyn and Bill, it will be around the freezing mark with mainly clear skies.

Hi all. Bluebird weather here on the coast, 44 degrees and sunny. That bodes for cold tonight because of lack of cloud cover. Hope it doesn't get too bad, my daughter has to drive up to Childrens Hospital in the morning. The Black Hills up by Olympia get really icy fast (black ice).

Don, I see you still have your wicked sense of humor! Hope that means you're feeling better. May just be your strong sense of observation coming through. Dreary, wet day in MySouth. Good day for naps and watching football. Watching Georgia & Nebraska right now. Hope the GA Bulldogs pull this one out, since the LSU Tigers lost it in the final seconds. Oh well! Don, thanks for sharing those great analogies! I'm glad you still have your sense of humor. Hey to everyone else out there. I decided to write this using my new Samsung Galaxy MP3 player. HAPPY NEW YEAR,to all Bloggers.Mine was very quite,with a glass of wine and popcorn.OK has had some cold temps and some moisture,which we need more.Today is cold and cloudy and a fire is required.I am watching My Fair Lady,great movie. Young and old are the same. Babies wear diapers, old people Depends. Babies eat Pablum, old people Cream of Wheat. When one first starts to drive, car insurance is high, when you get old, car insurance is high. When babies learn to walk they fall, when you get old you fall. Babies drink from a bottle, still my favorite way to drink beer.

I was rooting for the Skins for you...haven't been a Cowboys fan for years. Watching LSU right now and hoping they win. Pulling for my SEC teams. Thoughts and prayers for Don. Hey to all my blogging friends! I figured I better check in and wish everyone a Happy New Year! I've been battling sinus headaches the past couple days so I hope I can stay awake until midnight. I better not stretch out on my sofa or else I may fall asleep. I don't want to sleep through the arrival of the new year! I've been watching football today.
