Hey folks, I'm just posting something so you don't see the spam the first thing on the blog. At least we went a couple days without the lowlifes invading our space. Take care, all. Margie

Hey Sam, I hope your weather doesn't get too bad. I'll keep your daughter in my prayers. We're going to have a cold night. It's already down to 24 on its way down into the teens. Hey Joni! I hope your weather hasn't been too crazy down there. Hey to all the other regular bloggers out there. I went back to work today. It doesn't feel like a Wednesday. It will take a little while to get back into the swing of things. Take care, everyone! Margie

Hi all. Bluebird weather here on the coast, 44 degrees and sunny. That bodes for cold tonight because of lack of cloud cover. Hope it doesn't get too bad, my daughter has to drive up to Childrens Hospital in the morning. The Black Hills up by Olympia get really icy fast (black ice).

DON.............FEEL BETTER SOON!!! lots of well wishes from NC!
Gwen
Don, I see you still have your wicked sense of humor! Hope that means you're feeling better. May just be your strong sense of observation coming through. Dreary, wet day in MySouth. Good day for naps and watching football. Watching Georgia & Nebraska right now. Hope the GA Bulldogs pull this one out, since the LSU Tigers lost it in the final seconds. Oh well! That's why I don't bet on football! Y'all have a great day. Happy New Year to all! Gwen :)

Janice, I was wondering: If they asked you to fill in on The Five, would you do it? I hope they ask and I hope you would, because I think you'd be great at it!
Margie Gacki
Don, thanks for sharing those great analogies! I'm glad you still have your sense of humor. Hey to everyone else out there. I decided to write this using my new Samsung Galaxy MP3 player. It doesn't have a phone but it does have WIFI. Typing takes a little getting used to. I have to make sure I proofread everything! Take care, everyone! Margie

Young and old are the same. Babies wear diapers, old people Depends. Babies eat Pablum, old people Cream of Wheat. When one first starts to drive, car insurance is high, when you get old, car insurance is high. When babies learn to walk they fall, when you get old you fall. Babies drink from a bottle, still my favorite way to drink beer.

Happy New Year everyone. Thinking how times have changed. Fifty one years last night I went to Times Square. Yesterday, I basically slept twenty hours

I wish all the bloggers and of course JD a very Happy New Year and a prosperous 2013. May Don, Margie's folks and all others who are experiencing health problems have a healthier 2013. May the (too) many spammers out there accidentally mix up your Preparation H and toothpaste tonight when brushing before bed! Later all, JB

Happy New Year, JD and blogger friends. I hope that 2013 brings health and happiness to all. Margie, I too have been watching football. I was rooting for the Skins for you...haven't been a Cowboys fan for years. Watching LSU right now and hoping they win. Pulling for my SEC teams. Thoughts and prayers for Don. Not sure if I'll make the ball drop tonight. Doesn't seem that important to me these days. Y'all be safe! God bless us, everyone! :)

Happy New Year, my Weather Machine Gang! I wish all of you the very best for 2013. I especially wish lovely Janice a wonderful New Year!
Margie Gacki
Hey to all my blogging friends! I figured I better check in and wish everyone a Happy New Year! I've been battling sinus headaches the past couple days so I hope I can stay awake until midnight. I better not stretch out on my sofa or else I may fall asleep. I don't want to sleep through the arrival of the new year! I've been watching football today. I watched a great Redskins game yesterday--go Skins! I love it when they beat Dallas! (Sorry TX folks.) Happy New Year, all! Margie

Wishing others who ned it the strength and grace that is needed to deal with whatever '13 hands you. Prayers out to Don and all others dealing with serious medical issues (my own step-father just Dx-ed with lung cancer). Prayers of strength and peace that come from somewhere other than this world. God Bless

Hi all! Happy New Year. If you are interested in the dock that washed up on the beach just North of where I live, there is a picture of it on this home page. It is the story in Latest News titled Washed up dock...... Good picture of the rough coastline, the barge, and the report. Overcast, 39, and calm today.

Janice: Let me be the first blogger to wish you a "Happy New Year" full of good health and happiness. You have been a "shining star" for Fox Weather this past year, and we hope you will continue to enjoy what you are doing, as you display love for your job. My husband (93 years young), said this morning, "look, Janice has on a rather sparkly jacket to finish out the old year." You looked very stunning to say the least. Keep up the good work, and blessings on you, Sean, and the boys. Audrey
